I love Sally Hepworth's work, and The Soulmate is no exception! The thrill was on point, and had me on the edge of my seat the entire book.

Just like every book by this author - well written, intriguing and unpredictable! Another great book by Ms. Hepworth!

This book had a bit of aa rocky start for me. I found Iwas bombarded with info. However it did improve for the first half of the book. Then it really seemed to drag. I have enjoyed other Sally Hepworth books in ghr past. Yhis one wasn't my favorite. 3 out of 5 ⭐️

Every book that Sally Hepworth writes is amazing, but this story is her best one yet! I devoured The Soulmate in less than 48 hours! The characters are so complex, yet relatable, and the plot is so original it was a great change from the typical thrillers I read. I will be telling everyone about the book and know it’ll be on the top bestsellers lists!

I was very eager to read this book, having adored Sally Hepworth’s recent novels. However, this one fell a bit short, in my opinion. It is an interesting story and an enjoyable read, for the most part, but Amanda as the omniscient narrator bothered me. This device is something I have seen other authors use and I’ve decided that it is just not for me. I’m sure that it won’t bother all readers, and I hope that many enjoy this book. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

Whatever Sally Hepworth writes, I will buy. She is CONSISTENTLY putting out great novels, crafted with twists and complex plot lines. Thank you netgalley & the publisher for the ARC, in exchange for an honest review.

I'm going to be in the minority but I did not think this book was that great. It is supposed to be a thriller but I found it to be quite slow, with more of a drama story line. I've read most of Sally Hepworth's other books (if not all!) and this was not one of my favourites.
Thank you to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for an advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

The Soulmate is just another example of why Sally Hepworth is such a talented thriller author!
I read this in one sitting, devouring each chapter and unable to stop reading until I finally knew what was going on. I loved that this was both a classic thriller but a very intense romance as well. The setting of this book was beautiful and haunting. It looks at secrets and lies in a marriage kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Sally Hepworth did it again! Sally is one of the up and coming queens of the domestic thrillers. She combines interesting, complex characters with brilliant writing and plot twists that will blow your mind. This book was fast paced, kept my attention and had me reeling by the end. A job well done!

When I "discovered" Sally Hepworth, I felt I hit the jackpot of familial dramas. Hepworth deserves to be recognized in the same category as Liane Moriarty and I look forward to the day when Hollywood comes calling. Sadly, The Soulmate does not meet the standards set in her previous books. Pippa is married to Gabe, the hottest, most compassionate guy in all of Australia. She is the envy of all the moms at her child's nursery. They have lots of hot sex and money. What could go wrong? Cracks in the armor forced this family to move away from Melbourne to a seaside manse in a vacation town. The one drawback is the home is situated next to a popular suicide known as The DROP. Enter Amanda, who quickly exits over the edge of THE DROP. The remainder of the novel is told between two alternating points of view: The long-suffering Pippa and Amanda's unrestful spirit. I may have enjoyed this novel more if I found any of the characters in the least bit sympathetic or likable. The women are simpering, lovelorn fools with the emotional maturity of teens with self-esteem issues. There are some twists, but nothing really surprising. Overall a letdown, Do better next time Sally!

Honestly. What more can be said about Ms. Hepworth? I am always excited to see a new release by this author. A great read! Keeps you hooked from page 1 and unputdownable!!!!!

Another reviewer put it best when she said she canceled her Sunday plans because of this book, and I found myself practically doing the exact same! Staying up way past my usual bedtime because I couldn't take my hands off this page turner. I recently one of Sally Hepworth's other novels, The Good Sister, which I loved for the very intelligent character development and twisty plot. When I read the premise for The Soulmate, I was very excited to get my hands on this copy and it did not disappoint.
Pippa and Gabe are seemingly a perfect couple - beautiful family with two delightful young daughters living in Portsea at a stunning cliffside home. The catch? The cliff point called "The Drop", the gorgeous viewpoint from their kitchen is a popular suicide spot. Pippa's husband Gabe is a picture perfect hot dad, but since they've moved to their new home outside of Melbourne, he's become a local hero, with his easy way of making people comfortable he's helped saved several lives by convincing them to step away from the cliff.
All seems well until one day, a woman comes to the cliff. Gabe goes out to speak to her and draw her back in as usual while Pippa calls the police, but this time it doesn't work and the woman has seemingly fallen to her death. Pippa tells the police she last saw the woman raise her arms before disappearing out of sight, but leaves out the fact that she's sure she's seen her husband's outstretched arms, almost looking as if they were pushing forward.
The story unravels deliciously as we learn more about the family's dark secrets and about the mysterious woman who jumped. Exceptionally well-paced and intelligently written characters. This is another winner from Sally Hepworth for me.
Thanks Netgalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I have been a fan of Sally Hepworth for a long time and I loved being able to read her new book “The Soulmate” ahead of its publication date. Like many of her other books, “The Soulmate” kept me interested until the absolute last page. It is a mystery/thriller that keeps you guessing with new twists until the very end, while also thinking about what it is like to love your soulmate through lies, betrayal and even murder.

Another amazing novel from Sally Hepworth. Gabe and Pippa live in a cottage on a cliff, a cliff that is notoriously known as a popular suicide spot. Gabe begins to be able to talk people off the literal edge. But one night, one woman actually jumps and it wrecks Gabe. But when the woman's identity is revealed, it makes it worse.

I absolutely loved this one. There was constantly something happening, and the conclusion was shocking. SO many plot twists! Absolutely add this to the top of your list.

hard to get into ! But finish it and you'll understand. Sometimes you have to just not cover for them. As a enabler I hurt, because I saw myself!

A great story about how lives can be so intertwined that only death can pull them apart. An easy to read, quick paced story from Sally Hepworth that I’m sure everyone will be talking about! A solid 4.5 ⭐️/5.

Great story! Could not put it down and had no idea where the story would go. There were no "bad guys" or villians. All of the characters were likable and you wanted them all to have a happy ending. The location was interesting and I enjoyed the story.

Hepworth is a strong writer with another successful book! I was hesitant to review quickly as I wasn't sure how I felt about this book, but 2 weeks after reading it and I'm still thinking about it!

I loved this book. It was twisty and turny and I never knew what was gonna happen next. I was hooked by the end of the first chapter and devoured the rest of the book!
The story was told through multiple character viewpoints. However this common writing style was given a unique twist, we get to hear from the victim both while she was alive and in death.
This story discussed mental health a lot. This is something I think is so important. But TRIGGER WARNING suicide is discussed pretty frequently.
This is also a book about marriage. We see two very different marriages, and how each relationship affects the individuals that make up the marriage.
Overall this was a great book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good twisty thriller!

The Soulmate was a good, fast paced thriller that had me reading pretty much all day… complex relationships, good characters and the unexpected twists make The Soulmate a good solid read.. the end was a perfect representation of how one would feel if tragedy was to happen to their one true love!! 4 twisted heartbreaking stars for The Soulmate!!
