Talks about "integrated living" and how to make our real life consistent with our values and ideals. Can work with you, I guess, but not really for me?

The Handbook for an Integrated Life is a wonderful, life changing book. It is the best book I’ve read that brings, kind, efficient, earth friendly, no guilt ways to live a full life, true to my values. My favorite bit of advice were how to divide chores fairly in a household, how to reduce ecological stress, and how to find a job that matters both economically and socially.

Handbook for an Integrated Life is a compilation of the tools Sharon Schneider's has use for living integratively. What will this book teach you to do? This book will teach you ways to eliminating nonessentials, living consciously, evaluating values and much more!

It may seem impossible to go against the flow of our culture of more, but Schneider offers some helpful, and *gentle* approaches, both general principles and practical suggestions, that can help us do just this. This will be of particular use for American readers, since many of the resources provided are directed toward an American audience.

This book was accessible, inspiring, hopeful, and hit the perfect balance between ideas and application.

(Note: I've posted a review on Goodreads and will post mini-reviews on my blog on July 23 (weekly roundup) and July 31 (month-end 'Head and Heart' roundup)
