A short book but not like a novella, just slightly longer.
A couple of pages felt too rushed, especially at the beginning I was feeling like I missed a couple of pages or the book already started like 20 pages ago and I got a glitched book :'D Anyway, of course, I didn't, it just so rushed. It gets better with each chapter.
Both of them are trying to solve the problem of drugs on the ship while battling their chemistry.
However, the book is more focused on the latter - smut everywhere - and not much on the action.
I read this book quickly and enjoyed it but I'm still giving it 3.5 stars due to the speed of the story. The sexy scenes were great, though.

A sexy Australian on a cruise ship, A female agent on a cruise ship. Need to say more? Absolutely not. A nice refresher to a steamy romance with a drug issue to solve. Fast paced and kept me wanting more. I have never read anything by this author but as it shows she is a veteran's wife like myself, I will be reading more of her work.

Not a lot to say about this one, other than the fact that I did spread the word and share this title with my close friends whom I know would love this book with their whole heart.

I was intrigued, and it was a good read for me.

Thank you for the ARC!!

Pacific Persuasion has mystery, suspense, a bit of humor and plenty of steam. A quick, entertaining read!

A wild and steamy ride set on a cruise ship where the trip isn't exactly going according to plan.

Head of security on the South Sea Mermaid, Kai Walker, hates having drugs on his ship. Women are being drugged and attacked. But the mysterious new guest he spots could be involved. He plans to keep a close eye on her to see if he can catch her in the act. Until he ends up handcuffed by her.

US DEA Agent Pearl Hamilton is determined to focus on the assignment she's been set. Figure out where the drugs are coming from. But a good looking security guard is making her job very difficult. When they go head to head, sparks fly and they realize they are on the same side. Pearl and Kai team up but they can't ignore the attraction between them.

A solid, steamy read that was fast paced and had great romance. A great weekend beach read with lots of heat.

A security officer and a DEA agent looking for the person or persons smuggling drugs and also having hot sex as well. The story was good as were the characters, this was a quick read.

𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: mistery, friends to lovers, quick to read

Kai is looking for the source of the drugs on the ship, but when he meets Pearl everything becomes a temptation for him and at times his job is forgotten. At the end there should have been a plot twist, but it seemed totally non-existent. I had more expectations from this book considering that the blurb attracted me a lot and the first two chapters seemed promising, but it wasn't like that.

It barely has a plot, but I really enjoyed the smut scenes.

Thank you NetGalley, The Wild Rose Press and Sofia Aves for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

The plot was good, but the concentration on steamy sex was a bit much. Not really sure how characters like these could do their jobs effectively when all they were doing was thinking of each other and not the contraband they were searching for! Disappointed because I have read better books from this author. I received an ARC from NetGalley and the opinions expressed are my own.

Another fast fun read from an author that is quickly becoming a favourite as the length of her books are perfect for when you want something fast 1-2 hours These books also attract me because of the Australian characters it is so rare to get books set in my own country

Kai Walker is the head of security is the head of security on a cruise ship and he is pretty certain that someone is smuggling drugs onto his ship going by the increase of overdoses on board His main suspect is a woman travelling alone Pearl Hamilton what he doesn't know is that she is in fact a USA DEA agent tracking the same drug runners as him. One he finds out who she is they work together while not really fighting the attraction between them (Think handcuffs)

Very quick read with a fun plot and fantastic characters.
I liked the setting and thought it added to the mystery/adventure aspect of the story.
The writing was solid too. I never felt it was over descriptive or boring.
A perfect beach/vacation read.

US DEA Agent Pearl Hamilton is undercover as a passenger on the South Sea Mermaid. She is assisting the federal Australian police to investigate whether the ship is being used to transport drugs. Kai Walker is the head of security and is curious about passenger Pearl Hamilton. She is travelling alone and he needs to find out if she is involved in the drugs that he believes are the cause of overdoses on his ship. At their first meeting, she confesses that she is working undercover. At this point she went from being focused on the assignment to handcuffing him for sex. I was disappointed as the summary was interesting, but for me the story wasn’t. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Spice with some plot? Yes, I’m all for it. I really enjoyed the plot of this story for what there was. I’m not going to lie, I definitely was not expecting this book to be as short as it was which was a nice surprise! Super easy and fast read which I was able to finish in a day! Im excited to see the rest of what this series has to offer.

Thanks to NetGalley and Backlit PR for providing me with an electronic ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Steamy! I really enjoyed this fast paced read. Covered all the bases and wasn't long and drawn out. Really enjoyed the character progression and the twist that plot took. Thank you for the opportunity to read this early edition! Look forward to the rest in the series

What a heart warming story. Once again the story was exciting full of love and choices in life, I liked how they managed to overcome all the difficulties that surrounded them. Am glad it ended as it did.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
A security officer on a cruise ship and the woman sent to solve a mystery collide and heat up the ship with their attraction to each other.
There is a threat so can they both stay alive to find out who is behind selling drugs and roughing up women?

This novella was a quick read that has slices, a tad of mystery, and takes place on a cruise ship! Given it’s a novella of moves pretty quick which is nice.

If you’re looking for a quick, spicy read then I recommend picking up Pacific Persuasion.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for this ARC.

My only complaint about this book was that it was too short! It's more of a novella than a novel, and I was wanting more details. The story was fact paced and action packed. There's intrigue and suspense and great character development. A lot is packed in these limited pages! I read it in one sitting and highly enjoyed it!
