Tahoe is such a special place and I couldn’t help reading this book with a big smile on my face. Not only does it cover the ABC but introduces wonderful creatures and their hobbies along the way with beautiful artwork throughout.
This was a really cute book! The ABCs aspect was fun and educational. I enjoyed the art a lot on all of the pages. It was creative with how to incorporate places around the Tahoe area. This would be a fun gift for people who have vacationed or lived in the Tahoe area!
I was drawn to this book because of how cute the cover was. I was not disappointed. The illustrations inside the book are darling.
I loved using the alphabet to tell the story. I son really enjoyed the rhymes and the flow of the story.
Quick Summary: Vibrant illustrations and alluring alliteration
My Review: Good Night TAHOE was a super cute read. I loved how the author and the illustrator introduced readers to the creatures, locations, and pursuits associated with the region. I think children will love learning about the area habitat.
This book is so colorful that it will immediately capture the attention of the young. Also, it is very educational and teaches about animals that many kids may not know of or be familiar with.
The ABC model should prove to be quite helpful. I appreciated the rhythm and the flow of the content. Additionally, the alliteration used will be a huge draw for those who like that literary device.
I think teachers, librarians, and families will enjoy this book. It would be a great gift, and it would be a wonderful nature study resource.
My Final Say: I was attracted to this book because the cover drew me in, and I wanted to see more. I'm so glad that I read it. I will be recommending Good Night TAHOE to our local librarian for their Book Buddies program and/or for the Saturday Read Aloud sessions.
Thank you to the author, to the publisher, and to NetGalley, who provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is an adorable children’s book. What a wonderful way for children to learn their ABC’s, and different words that correspond to each alphabetical letter. I even learned about native animals of Tahoe I’ve near heard of and many fun, outdoor activities one can do there.
I loved the illustrations. They reminded me a lot of Disney’s Pixar. Very colorful and animated.
If you have visited Tahoe with your children, or live there, I would recommend this book!
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
What a cute bedtime story for all children! The illustrations were incredible, the wordplay was fun, and the simplicity of the book in general made it relaxing to read. I love the idea of paying homage to Nevada and I hope that the author comes out with books for all fifty states.
Good Night Tahoe is a cute story told alphabetically (each page is a different letter). I really loved all the different animals featured and the almost 3-d looking illustrations!
5 star Children's book
Being a local to the area, I was so excited to see and read/review this! All the areas and animals are very familiar, and the pictures are beautifully done. What a fun bed time story, for your little ones to learn the area, the wildlife, and the alphabet.
Though I dont have little ones anymore, I will want this as a physical copy on my shelf just for the nostalgia and familiarity of home.
This was so cute. I loved the illustrations and the colours, the pictures were so vibrant and colourful. I loved how it imaginative it was, with learning disguised in such a fun innovative way. The kids not only learn their abcs but names of different animals and areas starting from that alphabet. And as colourful and fun it was I have no doubt kids will be able to retain what they learn.
