I really loved B.C. Stephan’s The Best Worst Day Ever. The Best Worst Day Ever is about a girl who when bad things happen during her day, she is able to look for the good in her day. I liked the how the girl looked for the good, despite bad things happening. This book would be good for any type of story time. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

The Best Worst Day Ever is about finding the good in even bad days. It is a really important message with gentle illustrations. It’s basically Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with a more positive twist. The character discovers that sometimes things go wrong, and then because of that good things get a chance to happen, or that the terrible thing wasn’t really so terrible as you first thought. Highly recommend!

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

We often get stuck on a bad moment becoming a bad day. I love bold that help teach a different o dart. This is a book I will add to my collection and read to my students.

The Best Worst Day Ever might is less of a story book and more of a lesson book. That said, I think it could be a useful read for a child who is struggling and has negative feelings on a regular basis. The theme of looking for the good that can come when out expectations are not met or when things go wrong is found on every page.

I thought that this was a lovely book and it was on that I enjoyed reading with my 5 and 7 year old nephews at bedtime.

The book was really positive and I loved the view that you can find the positives in everything throughout.

I thought that the book was well written and fun too.

The illustrations were really lovely and worked well with the storytelling

It is 5 stars from us for this one – very highly recommended

Adorable short read about turning around the “bad” and making it “good”! Great way to teach kids that sometimes things don’t go our way because there’s something better on the horizon.

A fun picture book about how situations can be the best and worst, sometimes leading one into the other.

I felt like this story did a really good job of showing perspective to younger readers, especially when it comes to finding good within the bad.

Thank you to Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the opportunity to read and review.

When I was growing up there I had the Alexander’s bad day book (you know the one with the long title). I feel like this could be my daughters version of that but I love that all of the bad situations have positive reframes. That’s a strong message to send to kids! Only part I didn’t love is the finding money and using it to get a toy they wanted - not sure that message is in line with the rest of the book.

YES! That's what I'm talking about seeing the good even in the bad days. This book teaches us about optimism. I want to read more books like this. Great choice for everyone.

This book was okay but very repetitive. It had some funny parts but it didn't really stand out as anything spectacular.

This is a great book for people of all ages! The author’s presentation on how attitude is determined by perspective is something that needs to be emphasized today. We all know people who have the “glass is half-empty” viewpoint.

While the book is written for children, having the story delivered in a read-aloud way would allow the reader to also gain the lesson this book is teaching. Thanks to the author for the efforts made to deliver this timely reminder. This is definitely a book that would work as a personal purchase or as a gift.

I am grateful to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to voluntarily read and review this

This was such a cute book about making the best out of everything. It’s a great lesson for kids, that sometimes bad things happen, but sometimes it leads to better things. My four year old really enjoyed this book. After we finished this book, she started telling me about times something happened that made her sad, but later turned out to be okay in the end. This is definitely a book I would recommend to friends with young children!

This quick read has a girl go through her day and realise how it was full of ups and down, swings are roundabouts – losing this meant finding that, having that accident caused this bit of fortune, and so on. It's a good idea to have that mindset, it seems, that 'all things shall pass' with all things definitely meaning the good luck as well as the bad. And if we can see a silver lining to all clouds, we should be better able to just get on with life. Simple, pastel-heavy art shows the charm of the piece, if it can get to feel a little too repetitive with it's this-but-this-then-but-this storyline.

wow it's actually so nice. this book illustrated how positive mindset works, how in every bad thing that happened to us there's actually good thing following behind if you look closely. I loved it.

This was a really cute book with cute illustrations.

My son is seven years old and he said he rates it 12 out of five stars. So that’s a glowing endorsement.

I enjoyed reading it to him and I liked how it turned every negative into a positive and looking on the bright side was a major theme in this book.

This was a very cute book that shows you can have a bad moments throughout the day but it can still be the best day overall. My daughter enjoyed this book and it was cute to see what came next.

Begins by taking 'Life can be tough...but remember that power lies in your attitude'.

First the little girl's WI-FI goes down and she cannot watch her favourite show and even worse her mum can't fie TV. But best thing is I found my lost aeroplan.

The series of good parts oand bad parts happened throughout her day. The waiting for dad to come home, finding a kite losing it again but finding it on an ice crd truck, then tripping over seeing a friend and so on!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me a complementary digital copy of this eboo in exchange for a honest revie. All opinions expressed in this message are completely my own.

I was not a fan of this book. It seemed like the child was entitled and complained a whole lot. Yes there was positives found in the negatives but I’m not going to read a book complaining of life to my children.
