Many of us have already read this book from Karen Kingsbury. It was first released in 2005 and I scooped it up as soon as I could get my hands on it. I loved it then and I loved it again with this new release. If you haven't read it I highly recommend you get a copy.

It's a gripping story of two very shattered people that eventually come together and help heal the other's wounds. Be forewarned it's a tear-jerker so keep the tissues handy. I knew what was coming and I still cried.

The exciting part about this rerelease is that it comes just as the TV mini series for this story is being released on PureFlix. I've only had the opportunity to watch the first of six episodes but it looks like it will be a memorable series.

I would be remiss if I didn't also mention that this is just book one in a three part series. The other two books are Just Beyond the Clouds and This Side of Heaven. The three books together tell the full story of Cody Gunner and in my opinion shouldn't be missed. I hope that the TV mini series goes on to tell the rest of the story contained in the following two books. I guess we'll see!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher to facilitate my review.

I have been provided with a review copy of A Thousand Tomorrows from NetGalley for an impartial review. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I just didn’t want it to end. I just lost myself in and I just couldn’t get enough of these interesting characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

As a fan of Kingsbury's books, I was excited to read A Thousand Tomorrows, a release of a previously published book. Learn of Cody and Ali and their growing relationship from friendship to a deep love for each other. Together they will face struggles; read this book to find out if they are able to overcome their obstacles.

A tender and heartbreaking story for both Cody Gunner and Ali Daniels, each fighting their own respective battles: one with hate and bulls, and the other, a lifetime of cystic fibrosis. I especially loved how Ali managed, with determination and resilience, to live and do life despite her serious condition. Very positive vibes! I also liked that this is a Christian faith-based narrative even though as a light 'dusting,' but it makes the story a clean read and I strongly appreciate this element in books I chance to read, this one included.
This is the first book in the author's new series of Cody Gunner. I believe Karen Kingsbury fans will not be disappointed with yet another 'creation' of this prolific writer. There are Reading Group Guide questions available at story's end for those who wish to delve deeper into the issues imbeded in this tale.

I have been in a reading slump and have just been blah lately with reading, but let me tell you this book pulled me right out of that slump. I devoured this book in a day! Karen Kingsbury knows how to hook you from the very beginning and keep you reading to the end. This is such a great read filled with tons of emotions and tears. Not sure I can say that I have ever cried while reading a book, but this one made me!!

Cody Gunner has had a rough time with love since his dad walked out on him, his mom and his little brother when he was young. For the longest time he blamed his mom for his dad leaving because he heard her say that he can go ahead and leave if that was what he wanted. Not knowing that it was all his dad's choice, Cody had resentment towards his mom for a long time. Cody's brother has down syndrome and he did overhear his dad say that he couldn't stay around and raise him with his condition.

Cody and his pent up anger towards his dad and mom never had a place to go until he started riding bulls. Cody could put all his anger into the bull and feel like he defeated that anger for a little bit when he stayed on those 8 seconds for a good ride. Everyone thought that Cody should be a football player like his dad was but he was not interested in that since he was mad at his dad.

Ali Daniels was a well known barrel racer that was withdrawn in the rodeo circuit. She always stayed to herself and never really associated with anyone after her ride. She would go to her trailer with her mom and stay there. When Cody Gunner started riding in the rodeo circuit, he noticed Ali and was determined to try and pursue her. Ali was not having it at first but then she started giving in a little to Cody.

Ali ended up telling Cody all about secret that has kept her in her trailer and from socializing with the other riders. When Cody finds out Ali's secret, he feel more obligated to take care of her and watch out for her. Ali and Cody start spending more and more time together. Cody looses his want to chase the other rodeo girls when he starts hanging out with Ali. Everything changes about Cody when he starts hanging out with Cody.

This is such a great read that you will not want to put down until you have finished this moving story of Ali and Cody. I am so glad that I got the chance to read this story and get to fall in love with Ali and Cody. Karen Kingsbury hit it out of the park with this one. I could read more of Ali and Cody's story for days,. Such great characters in this story too.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all opinions are my own. Thank to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy of this book. I absolutely loved it!

As you would expect from any book by Karen Kingsbury, this is a well-written and engrossing story that kept me reading till the wee hours. She has skillfully woven a sweet and touching love story while showcasing the terrible disease of cystic fibrosis.

One element prevents me from giving A Thousand Tomorrows 5 stars which I will not disclose for fear of making it a spoiler. A full 4 stars from me.

I was given an ARC from Netgalley and Central Street Publishing in exchange for an honest review! These thoughts are my own opinion. I really enjoyed this book I both laughed and cried! I love Karen Kingsbury she is one of my favorite authors! I’m

Cody Gunner has no use for love! After all his dad walked out on him, his mom and his brother who has the biggest heart of them all! Ali Daniels also doesn’t have any desire to find love after all she is literally fighting to live everyday against Cystic Fibrosis! The disease that is taking her ability to breathe more and more everyday! The Two meet at a rodeo Cody is a bull rider and Ali is a barrel racer. Just wanting to race with her pal Ace but knowing she’s on borrowed time! The two become close and feelings become love but will Cody and Ali open up their hearts for a one tomorrow to have a thousand tomorrows?

This book had an amazing Down syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis rep! I loved Cody and Ali! They are both characters afraid to love! I really enjoyed the relationship between Cody and his brother! They are buddies for life! This book was different then Karen’s other books normally they are sprinkled with scripture and this book didn’t have that. It had one scene instead. I enjoy both writing styles! My favorite quote was “ Now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the greatest story which no one on Earth has read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better then before.”

This book came out in 2007 but is getting a new look on Nov 22,22.
