This one ended up being sweeter than I thought it would be. It also ended up being a quick read. I would consider reading more by this author.

The story happens over the span of a few short days. The fact that it contains an engagement break up, finding the love of her life (after one date?!), finding out her dearest friend has cancer, AND she dies? I know it’s a fictional story, but it’s so unrealistic in its timeline. There’s potential for a good story, but I feel it fell short of that, unfortunately,

This was a sweet book. It reminded me of a cozy story. It did seem to overuse the same words too often. as in "Why, yes" in both Marge and Pam. Anyway, it was a pretty good read. Love the title and book cover as well.

I tried to like this book. I really did. Unfortunately, too much is going on, I can tell the author had a phenomenal idea, but damn does the execution need help. To start off, there are A LOT of typos. And not the typos that you can skim over. They make the author’s meaning unclear and generally distract from the story. Additionally, the 3rd POV was a little weird. Several paragraphs began with “Pamela this and Pamela that.” I almost think this novel would have benefitted from a first person pov. Overall, I think this is a good foundation for a book but requires some alterations

This is a good little book. It’s the author’s first book. The story moved along at a good pace. The characters were fairly well developed. I think with time and more experience, the author will become great. Pamela is the main female character. She is a veterinarian that comes from a very dysfunctional family. The book kinda goes back and forth between Pamela’s family in New Jersey to her job in North Carolina. I will not go into much more of the story as this is not a book report but a book review. I would read another book from this author. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy for my honest review.

This is the first novel by P.B. Mesa and I certainly hope she has many more heartwarming stories like You Rescued Me Rosebud.
Rosebud is a small neglected dog that that is turned into Pamela, a veterinarian with a heart of gold.
These characters in the book are strong, but tender hearted, broken, but always looking for the sunny side, and just maybe, they can find the both find the love they so desperately seek.
I loved the story.

Romance…love..starting over…the characters in this book are likable and come alive on the pages…it is a sweet quick read…people and animals…this book would make a great movie…romantic fiction. This author is talented at writing a novel that keeps the reading intrigued. What will happen next? Although this book does need some major editing as to the syntax, it is well worth taking the time to read it. I cannot wait to get more books from this author. Thanks to Netgalley for the electronic copy to review…thanks to the publisher and the author.
