This was my first time reading Willow Rose, but it will not be my last. I enjoyed the escape to the Bahamas, a dream vacation marred by tragedy.

FBI agent Eva Rae, has the case, is it a conspiracy theory? Maybe something sinister, enough to keep me guessing for a bit.

I read this without reading the previous 11 books in the series but that didn't stop it from being a 5 star read for me! Running to go read books 1-11!

I've enjoyed books in the Eva Rae Thomas series before. This one is about two little girls who suddenly go missing on a cruise with their parents. The plot has lots of detail and twists. Characters are about average for this series. The book was easy to read and held my interest. My only complaint was that I would have chosen a different ending. I can't say more (don't want to be a spoiler). That caused me to have a lower impression of the book.

This was my first Willow Rose book and it certainly won't be my last. Vacations going awry? I'm there! This sort of book always sounds interesting to me. The characters were unreliable and unlikable but the fact that kids were involved kept me interested. I would definitely recommend checking trigger warnings for this book as the central theme involves children.

Overall, I enjoyed the book - it's a very quick and fast paced read. It's book 12 in the series but I didn't feel like I was missing anything by not having read any of the other books.

This is my second Eva Rae Thomas mystery! And number 12 in the series. The previous book was not mind blowing but I decided to come back, because I did enjoy it enough.

FBI agent Eva Rae Thomas is called to a cruise ship close to the Bahamas. The daughters of a famous NHL player and his wife I’ve have gone missing. Poof. A nineteen stories tall cruise ship with 6000 people…. Just gone. Then a body turns up.

Whose body is it?
Will the girls be all right?
Who is involved?
Can Eva Rae save the day once again?

The thing is, this is a nice little mystery. Nice. Nice is just that… not great, not bad. It swims somewhere in the middle of a big fat ocean, just like in our story… Nothing more, nothing less. This is not even a bad thing. (I guess) More a matter of taste. While I am not a big guesser, not usually even trying to guess, this was pretty obvious and by the book. Very straight forward. Again, not a bad thing, if that’s what you like. To me, it was too easy. Another issue was that it was unbelievable. If you know me, you know I don’t always care for that, as long as the story holds. It didn’t in this case. Some of the issues in the cruise were just too unbelievable ( cards, cards, cards…). Maybe a bit more research would have helped…?! Sorry!

The story had its up and downs. It was interesting and I finished quick. Definitely a plus. But that’s pretty much where it ended for me.

I guess my biggest issues are : the pace/timing of the book , the lack of suspense and the flat characters. The nine eleven thing?!?!

This sounds worse than it probably is. The storyline was fun and entertaining, just not very deep. While not being disappointed by this, I think Eva Rae and I will part ways from now on. I really wanted to like this one.

Having recently been on cruise myself i certainly enjoyed the story line and the characters. Willow Rose is not a new author to me and i enjoy her work

Willow rose is a favourite author of mine, and she didn't disappoint with this one. Twists and turns galore when Eva Rae tries to find two missing children on a cruise ship.
Great writing, great story, highly recommend.

I unfortunately DNF at 10%. I just couldn’t get into it, the writing style just wasn’t my thing. I’ve previously worked on cruise ships, so I think I just didn’t feel as connected with having that specific personal work experience. But I’m sure it could be someone’s perfect cup of tea with cruises and mysteries.

This was an intriguing story about a missing child on a cruise. It kept me invested throughout. The flashbacks helped add to the suspense of what was really going on. The conclusion fell a little flat for me, but still a good read.

I must be honest the book pulled me in with cover but what a good decision.
I really enjoyed this book different POVS , fast , snappy, great storyline.

Lately I have been reaching to authors who I have not heard off and trying to find different styles of writing as just now it seems to be all the same, but this is just what I needed , enjoyed it that much downloaded a series by this author.

This is a plot-forward book. (My favorite kind of book!) I had no trouble reading it as a standalone even though it's book 12 in a series. The writing sometimes held back the momentum of the book, though, and made it hard to read seamlessly. There's a lot of repetition, sometimes of exact phrases (someone says something and the person they said it to repeats it verbatim to someone else), telling not showing, and stilted language.

You hear of people disappearing off a cruise ship and it is usually alcohol-related or a baffling mystery that never gets solved. This was a wonderful thrilling read that I will highly recommend to all my friends, family and patrons as it is a wonderfully written mystery that just sucks you in until it is done. Fabulous book.

Two children and their Mother disappear on a cruise. Where are they, did the Mother jump overboard and throw the children in the water? There are so many conspiracy theories in this story you don’t know which direction to look along with a few unexpected twists. This is my first book by this author nd I would read her again. Overall, I enjoyed the short chapters, characters, and storyline. At the end of the novel, the author shares that she used various news articles to shape and create the storyline, which gives the story a unique flair.

I would recommend this book for those who are looking for a quick read and interested in mystery novels!

A family takes a dream cruise to the Bahamas with their two young children, girls ages 10 and 3, when something horrible happens. The unthinkable, their two young children go missing, and until they are found, no one (both employees and passengers, around 6,000 people) can leave the ship. All off-ship activities and excursions are cancelled and the people are getting restless. The ship is being searched from top to bottom, and also the surrounding sea in case one or both of the sisters fell overboard. While this is going on, the parents are blaming each other for their children's disappearance, both of whom deliver believable stories as to why. What could have happened? Where are the children?

We’ve got conspiracy theory, an affair, a killer, a kidnapping, suspicious passengers and crew! Any one of the 5,000 passengers could have done it or have seen something that will help FBI detective Eva Rae solve this mystery.

I’m giving this book a 4-star rating based on; the fact that I enjoyed the story, I wanted to keep reading to see the final outcome. I kept thinking about the story when I wasn’t reading. I will recommend this book to others. I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.

I really enjoyed Say it isn't So. It's a fast and entertaining read that kept me on the edge of my seat. The cruise ship setting added an extra layer of suspense that made it even more exciting. Tina's character was hilarious - she was so odd. Thanks for the advance review copy. I will definitely read more from this author since I liked the writing style.

Yet another subpar take on the overdone locked room mystery. Underdeveloped characters, a mystery that really wasn’t, and overall formulaic and predictable.

Wow! I cruised right though this book, pun intended. This thrillers the perfect vacation read but reading this book on a cruise ship would not be for the faint of heart! If you love your reads to be fast paced and action packed, this is a must read. This is my first of the twelve Eva Rae Thomas Mystery books and I can't wait to go back and read them all from the beginning.
