It might be to do with the formatting on the Kindle, but I found this very frustrating to read. Large gaps in sentences, but none between paragraphs.
I also didn't get to connect emotionally with any of the characters, they just kept popping up.
I guessed the ending from the start.
Disappointing for what seemed a great premise.

This book was honestly a little but underwhelming. I just expected more from it. It wasn’t bad, I just was able to predict everything.

Wow, this story moves quickly! Multiple viewpoints, short chapters, and tons of dialogue make this a quick read. Occasionally, the dialogue did come off slightly stilted and unnatural, but I still devoured this novel in one day. Loved the cruise setting. The tension of the guests trapped onboard threatening to rebel from being detained was palpable. The conspiracy theory bits were deliciously over the top. Perfect book to toss into the beach bag.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this. I am a huge fan of Willow Rose. My favorite books of hers are the Eva Rae Thomas. Once again she hit this ball out of the park. I finished it in a day.

Cruise Ship vacation gone a-rye. Mix in conspiracy theory lover, a killer, an affair, kidnapping, and the FBI. Good crime and sick passions of the heart mystery.

Being a big fan of Willow Rose, I'm trying to read everything she's written. I've especially enjoyed Eva Rae Thomas, who in this story tries to find two missing little girls who were passengers on a cruise ship. Both their mother and their father are viable suspects, and the arguments between them are hot and heavy... almost worth reading just for their constant repartee.

Can't recommend Willow Rose often enough!

My first by this author and realized it was part of a series. No problem though, it was easily read as a standalone. I enjoyed reading it while on my cruise, who doesn't love a locked room mystery?

A mystery, a cruise ship, a who done it !
Becky is 10 years old and so excited to be going on a cruise with her little sister, Nicky and her mom and dad. Dad is an NFL football player and doesn’t get to go on vacation much so this was going to be the trip of all trips to the Bahamas.
Becky was disappointed that her parents had been arguing the morning they left for the cruise, and it continued once they were onboard. Becky’s mom, Tina started drinking and stayed on the ship with her while her dad, Bryan took Nicky off the ship for the day while in port. When they came back Becky was visibly upset that her mother had been drinking all day and ignoring her . Bryan confronted Tina and they continued to fight. They argued into the night and Tina left the room and Bryan went looking for her . The girls were left alone . When Tina returned to the room the girls were missing .
There’s a death, missing children and suspicious parents and even a few questionable crew staff.

I was interested to read this book for the cruise ship topic and the mystery but could only give it a 3 star for the fact several parts were really far fetched including emotions, reactions and what an FBI agent would really do and say.
Clever ending , didn’t see it coming at all.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I actually read this a while ago. I borrowed the paperback from a friend. I’ve now requested a copy of the E-Book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I’m happy to be able to own this book and read it again.
This review is 100% honest and of my own thoughts and opinions.

It is a dream come true for ten-year-old Becky when her parents take her and her younger sister on a cruise to the Bahamas.

But nothing is how it is supposed to be when her parents can’t stop fighting, and soon the trip turns out to be a true nightmare.

It becomes a puzzling mystery when she and her sister disappear as the ship is about to dock in Coco Cay.

How do you disappear on a cruise ship?

Why can’t they be found?

Could they have fallen overboard?

FBI profiler Eva Rae Thomas is flown in to assist on this bizarre but very time-sensitive case.

The parents both claim to know what happened to their children. Each of them blames the other for kidnapping them.

Who is telling the truth?

Meanwhile, the passengers are not allowed to leave the ship as the search continues, causing the tension to rise onboard. It becomes a race against time as a frustrated Eva Rae Thomas tries to find out what happened in the hours up until the disappearance of the two children.

When one of the children is found dead, she realizes this is more than a simple case of a parental dispute.

There’s a killer onboard.

I started this series with this book and I still really enjoyed it. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything but it did prompt me to go back and check out the others.

I really enjoyed the writing, it kept me fully invested in wanting to know what would happen next. I couldn’t put it down.
This is a fun, exciting mystery that kept me on my toes.

I recommend!

Another Willow Rose book is a win. Although I haven't read all in this series, I will definitely be going back and reading hte ones I missed. This one has twists and turns that will keep you wanting more.

Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read this one.

The third time is not the charm for me, unfortunately. The synopsis always sounds good and interesting, but again I just don't care for the writing style. I am going to break up with Eva Rae.

Thanks to Netgalley and Buoy Media for a free copy.

Although this is the twelfth book in the series, I had no problems following the plot.

The story unfolds on a cruise ship where ten-year-old Becky is overjoyed about the family vacation with her parents and three-year-old sister, Nicky. Becky didn't have the glorious time she thought she'd be having with her family. The children's parents are behaving oddly, and she wakes to her parents arguing, then both leaving the room.

Eva Rae is called to investigate missing passengers, which entails locking down the ship so no one can leave.

A distraught father soon becomes two distraught parents flinging accusations, a stowaway masquerading a role with nefarious plans to bail themselves out of a tight situation, and passengers with questionable histories all made it difficult to pinpoint the guilty.

I enjoyed this mystery and the twists and turns. I was surprised by the ending.

I received an ARC, and I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Wow this was a great psychological thriller. The book was full of twists and turns, Becky has always dreamed of a cruise and her wish becomes a nightmare. A killer is on board the ship and the FBI will not stop until they find the killer. A definite stay up all night and finish book.

This was my first book in this series and it was great! It kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me guessing. I will be going back to read all the other books in this series.

Thank you NetGalley for letting me read this ARC. All opinions in this review is my own.

(I was a little hesitant to pick this up because I received it as an ARC without realizing it was part of a series, but this can totally be read as a standalone!)

This was the most addictive thriller I have read in a long time. I don’t know what it was, but I could not put this down and finished it in one day! I really enjoyed how throughout the whole book, you know what’s happening and the “who did it”, but there was STILL a plot twist at the end! This was the first book I read by Willow Rose, but certainly not the last.

🚨🚨🚨My Review🚨🚨🚨

Dream vacation turns into every parents worst nightmare . Wow
this was a totally gripping psychological thriller with one jaw-dropping twist after another. I
Started and finished all in one day. I found this story extremely addictive. The end of every chapter leaves you wanting more. As the story progresses you get to know the parents along with one of the maids and her brother. Before you know it you become interested in their story as well. Nothing on this ship is as it seems. After they found the youngest daughter dead in a suitcase my heart broke in a millon places. I never did connect with either of the parents but I had to know what happened to the girls and why. Now that there’s a killer onboard and time is ticking will they find their oldest daughter alive ? At the end of the story i was blew away with not 1 but 2 huge plot twist that not only did i not see them coming but they had my mouth hanging open.

This makes the second book I've read by this author and I must say I will be looking up and adding more of her books to my tbr list.

I e enjoyed most of this series but this one was a little flat for me, not as good as some of the others. I usually enjoy the everyday life of Eva Rae and this one was missing that…..it felt a bit rushed . I’ll still read the next in series hoping it has more of what I love in this series.

I voluntarily received a free copy from NetGalley and all opinions are my own.

Loved the cover of this book, loved the premise of the story.
Very soon into reading it, though, I found myself distracted and not feeling immersed in the story. I think much more could’ve been done to create intrigue, etc.
There were interesting enough characters, and the setting was interesting and, like I said, even the premise of the story seemed enticing, but the execution just kind of fell flat for me.
I have not read anything else by this author yet, and she has a series of books and so because I don’t usually give up after one try I will try another book by this author, but I wouldn’t say that I would recommend this book at this point.

Thankyou Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.
