This is a cute opposites-attract, enemies-to-lovers rom com that is book 5 in a series, but can be read as a stand-alone. The book is an easy read and the cute teasing and banter between the main characters, Hannah and Easton, is a fun read.

Hannah and Easton have been at odds since they were children. Easton mercilessly teases her, and Hannah gives it right back. Easton is part of a wealthy family that owns Wilder Adventures, an adventure tour group, and Hannah is one of their guides. When a you-tube influencer chef joins a new program the company starts, Easton sees his chance to branch out into something away from his family, and Hannah sees her possible chance at love. They convince Easton's brother to let them lead the chef's tour groups, and both put their plans into action.

The trouble is, Hannah needs help spicing up her wardrobe, and suddenly Easton finds himself giving her fashion advice and ogling her as she tries on outfit after outfit (cue Pretty Woman montage here). Hannah, unaware of her affect on Easton, then asks him for kissing lessons. Suddenly the couple becomes aware of their years-long desire for each other, but they fight admitting it to themselves.

Both characters are so cute. Easton has a bad-boy reputation but realizes his past encounters with women are empty and is surprised that he's actually looking for more. He's secretly soft-hearted and it was so sweet to see that side of him come out. Hannah is frank and bluntly honest. She has a painful past that makes trusting anyone almost impossible. As she spends more time with Easton, she slowly starts to let him into her life, but one wrong move will close the doors permanently. I enjoyed watching Easton slowly start to seep into Hannah's life, and got a kick out of her awkward encounters with the influencer chef.

This is a sweet book, with a few spicy passages, that can easily be read in one sitting. If you want a light, fun book to escape with for a few hours, this is the one for you. I haven't read any of the previous books, but I'm definitely going back to read them.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and Jelsba Media Group. All opinions are my own.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I just have to say I adored it! I loved Easton and Hannah. Their friendship was so sweet, they were there for each other in so many ways. Of course the Wilder family hijinx were fun, but I just keep thinking about Hannah. I have never read a romance heroine like quite like her before. This book was an unexpected delight!

I am so happy about this book! It is an enemies-to-lovers one! This is the fifth book in the Wilder Adventures Series (but for me it is the first one). Now I want to collect all of them from my bookshelves!
This is the story of Easton and Hanna. They were never best friends or even friends. They have to work together, and from this moment on, their feelings change. Hanna is a plus-size heroine (love it!). She is a kind, cute person, and Easton is so sweet. I love their slow-burn romance so much and was happy to read this book. I felt that the author knew what to write to make characters very emotional and natural. This story was captivating and interesting. In addition to the backstories, jokes, and how the characters overcome their challenges, I liked the fact that it was a rom-com. If you are a fan of enemies-to-love stories, you will enjoy this book!
Thank you NetGalley for an arc.

Loved that this set us up for another series with these characters! The storyline of the romance did drag a little too long - but it was worth it because I've been cheering for them to fall for each other since book one.

This is the fifth installment of the Wilder Adventures series, and it did not disappoint. Easton and Hanna have known each other for a long time and it is well known in their town how they are always giving each other a hard time. So, you could say they've never really been friends, more like frenemies. Their witty and cheeky banter and the pranking they do on each other was hilarious and fun to read. Their relationship gets a little complicated, though, when Hanna begins to show interest in an influencer, Bear, who comes to help Easton with his outdoors activity company. Hanna's crush leads her to ask Easton advice on dating. Instead of taunting and teasing her, he helps her out, and in the process, begins to see Hanna in a new light. She no longer seems to be this annoying thorn in his side, but a beautiful and slightly vulnerable girl who he can't stop thinking about. As he helps her in her quest to win Bear's heart , their relationship begins to evolve and blossom into something more. These two characters were absolutely wonderful together and I fell in love with them right from the start. Their chemistry was strong and undeniable. I loved seeing these two together. I really enjoyed the book and can't wait to see what Ms. Bell brings us next!
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I was loving this book until the end! The banter and angst was great. I loved the frenemies to lovers trope and the plus size FMC who loved her body! The ending just felt very abrupt and fell a little flat for me. That being said, I will try some of the other books in the Wilder series!

Thank you to Netgalley and Author Collective 20 for a copy of this ARC.

I absolutely fell in love with the previous book in this series, A Little Wilder, and was so excited to get a chance to read Wilder at Last. This one follows Hanna and Easton as they navigate their growing feelings against the background of the frenemy status they've always had. It was a great enemies-to-lovers story that had perfectly insulting banter, intense denial of feelings, and absolutely great payoff.

If you're looking for a new romance series based around a family and their business, check out the Wilder Adventure series and catch up on the previous books before picking up Wilder at Last!

Book 5 in the Wilder Adventures series follows Hanna and Easton's story and after seeing the subtle hints to their relationship throughout the previous books I was so keen to read.

Wilder at Last is a fun and easy read and is a bit of a slow burn enemies to lovers. I really enjoyed seeing Hanna and Easton come together after many years and their banter and joking friendship reminded me of my own relationship. I especially loved seeing little pieces of the older Wilder brothers lives.

While it took me a while to get used to the authors writing. I found it quite simple in the early books, almost juvenile even. There was lots of over sharing that made me cringe internally. It was not enough to put me off the series entirely and I definitely noticed subtle improvements throughout the story.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I now need to find more cozy adventure romances (the genre I didn't know I needed in my life!) to fill the void the Wilder family has left and I cannot wait to see what is to come with the Hott family in the upcoming spin-off series!

I requested this book at the last minute because I really liked the cover, not knowing it was the 5th book in the Wilder Adventures Series (I have a habit of doing that). I was worried that going in that I would be lost but this book can definitely be read as a standalone. AND I absolutely loved it!!!

Hanna and Easton have been frenemies since they were 5 years old. Hanna always had a secret crush on him but he never seemed to notice. They work closely together at Easton’s family’s business and are always playing jokes on one another. Wilder Adventures is looking for new ways to bring in money to the company so they invite a YouTube star, Bear, to go on forging adventures where they make gourmet meals with their findings. Hanna & Easton both go on these adventures with Bear - Easton because he wants to leave the family business and work with him and Hanna because she wants to sleep with him! Hanna knows Easton’s secret and blackmails him to help with her “Bear” quest...but what Easton finds out is that he has feelings for Hanna.

This book is so cute with some spiciness sprinkled in. I really loved Easton (what a trooper to agree to these shenanigans)! Hanna did get on my nerves with the constant blackmail comments to get what she wanted. I loved their pranks and their banter. I was laughing out loud on multiple occasions. I loved that this book was dial POV - I always enjoy reading the male side of the story.

All of the side characters were great! I can't wait to go back to read their stories. I look forward to Hanna's brother’s stories in the new series!

Wilder At Last By: Serena Bell ARC Review 🌄💐

Release date : February 7th , 2023

Synopsis-

Falling for my frenemy? Out of the question.

Easton: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been giving Hanna a hard time—and she’s been giving it right back. So we’re both shocked to find ourselves on the same side of a project: helping Hanna win the heart of the celebrity chef hired by my family’s business to give summer workshops.

It shouldn’t be a big deal. A wardrobe evaluation. A shopping trip. Maybe some how-to-get-the-guy advice. I’m an expert on matters of the heart—or, at least matters of the mattress.

But as Hanna starts to trust me and open up, I see her differently. She’s not so much blunt as refreshingly honest, not so much a plain Jane in baggy clothes as… deliciously curvy. And hidden under that spiky, steely exterior is a soft heart she doesn’t show anyone.

Suddenly, the project includes ogling Hanna in dressing room mirrors. Offering her kissing lessons. And desperately trying not to give in to the sizzling heat between us.

I have to let her know the plan has changed: I’ll still help her get the guy she wants. I just need to somehow convince her that it’s me.

This is my first Serena Bell book and it was very fun / quirky 🙃. I enjoyed the aspects of family as well as the main characters perspectives of being younger siblings 🏡. The banter such a breath of fresh air 🍃. The spice was spicing even from the beginning not gone lie it threw me for a loop. I feel like they imprinted theirselves on each others hearts like the stones in he placed in her palm 💓. I liked the inclusion of the book like her being more of a tomboy , plus size , among other things 🫶. All around a fast paced read with a good storyline.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. It's the fifth book in the series and I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but it was still good as a stand-alone. Although, I enjoyed it so much I'm going to read all the other books in the series now.

This is the first book I have read from this author and would certainly read more. I enjoyed the outdoor setting and the family dynamics, and despite not having read any of the other books series I didn't feel it took anything away from the reading. I enjoyed Hanna's confident yet slightly awkward character, and Easton was likable. Their interactions were mostly fun, though some of the situations were slightly silly and a bit juvenile, such as Hanna asking Easton to practice kissing. I was a bit unclear if they were supposed to be friends or enemies, as it was mentioned quite often towards the beginning that there had always been tension and a rivalry between them which I didn't see much in the story itself, though that may very well have been my fault for not reading the previous books in the series first and so not appreciating the build up to their relationship. Overall I would read this author again.

so, netgalley gave me an arc of this book, and I totally dropped the ball. I didn't get to finish it before it was published, but I've finished it now.

I LOVE Hanna. We are so similar in personality and just overall character, and I really enjoyed her perspective. Easton is a goofball but has his serious side, which I appreciate.

I gave it four stars, mostly cause it felt a little rushed. It's the first book of this series that I've read, so maybe there's a bunch of other context in the other books that I'm missing. I just feel like it went very quickly.

I do plan to read the other books now after reading this one. It's was very enjoyable and such a fun, fast read.

I'll probably come back to this review and write more after I finish the series.

You had me at the stones! If you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to read this book! I cried, I laughed, I swooned. This is the best book I've read in a while. Hannah and Easton are the best of friends, problem is they don't seem to realize it, let alone acknowledge other feelings they might be harboring. You discover their feelings along with Hannah and Easton but there are numerous obstacles to overcome as well. Both characters go on a growth journey and take you along for the ride. A great read.

Thanks to NetGalley and Jelsba Media Group for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A frenemies to lovers! Easton and Hannah are childhood frenemies and grew up together. Hanna now works at Easton’s family business; Wilder. They’re constantly bantering with each other and getting on one another nerves, almost like a sibling rivalry.
One day a celebrity chef called Bear comes to give summer workshops at Wilder and Hanna finds herself attracted to him. However not having much experience with men, and Easton having plenty experience with women, she turns to him for help.
He starts helping her with outfits, shopping trips, a little how-to-get-the-guy advice.
Easton quickly begins to realise there’s more to Hannah than he once thought and his mission turns into: how to get Hanna to realise she wants Easton and not in fact Bear at all.

This book gives good vibes! Hanna is bold and confident and makes my heart happy. I love Easton’s growth throughout.
It did move pretty quickly I thought. It didn’t really take much for Easton to realise that he does actually like Hanna which for me made the book feel a little rushed, hence the 3 stars.
But then it was only 277 pages so I can appreciate it had to move quite quick, I think I just enjoy a little bit more of the ‘falling’ part.

I didn’t realise it is actually book 5 in the Wilder Adventure series. I didn’t find myself confused like I needed to read any of the others before this one, but I feel you probably will have more of an understanding of all the characters if you read the others first. Maybe if I read the others first I would’ve given it a higher rating 😁

Wilder at Last will be published 7th February 2023 and I would recommend if you’re looking for a short, cute, steamy, small town romance!

Thanks to NetGalley & @serenabellbooks for providing me with the e-arc copy of this book!

Ugh. I freaking love Serena Bell. This book is pure perfection. I love both Hanna and Easton, I could picture them perfectly. I also really enjoyed grandpa Hott, why are grumpy old men so freaking funny without trying. The Wilder Brothers are so great yet again. I'm so excited that there's going to be a Hott series!!

Thank you netgalley for the Arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute, fun and lovable read! I read it in 24 hours. I haven't read any of the others in the story but you can bet I'm running to read them now! Can definitely be read as a standalone.

I have loved these characters and their banter in each of the previous four books in the series. That said, this book is one I've been anticipating. It was clear to me....even if it wasn't to the author in the beginning...that Hanna and Easton belonged together.

The thing I truly loved about this book was getting more back story on both of these characters. You get a better understanding of what makes each of them click and where their individual insecurities come from. It's also so sweet to see how long they've been friends and for how long Easton has truly cared about Hanna - - even before he really understood what his feelings actually were. And then later in the book, when Hanna opens herself to him and you realize that Hanna has loved him all along too. Just so very sweet.

I'm equally excited that through their story, Ms. Bell has setup a new series utilizing Hanna's brothers. Yay!! Bring it on!

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I voluntarily chose to read and review it and the opinions contained within are my own.

Cute story. I loved the little moments before Easton realised he had feelings for Hanna.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed it but a lot more spice/explicit scenes than I like.
