Break of Day is the last book in the Annie Pederson series. It is important to read them all in order because one directly ties to the next. I was looking forward to Annie and Jon's happily ever after but of course they had to go through some perilous situations before they could get there. The action and suspense had me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what happens next. I did figure out the culprit early on but that didn't detract from the story at all. This is a series that I definitely recommend.

Picking up immediately where the previous book (Dark of Night) left off, Annie Pederson is navigating a new relationship, her daughter's feelings toward this relationship, as well as the revelation that her newly found sister kidnapped her daughter. As well, she's still searching for a missing woman - and trying to determine what happened to her. And... Annie is being hunted by a person she thought was safely put in prison. Ms. Coble stays true to her characters and their Christian beliefs. It's a very fit ending to this series.

Break of Day by Colleen Coble Book was well written and characters were reliable. Action, intrigue, and suspense were all present. To fully appreciate the story, recommended reading the previous books in the series. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this was the third book in a series, so there was considerable confusion about all the characters' backgrounds, relationships, and traumas. The relationships were integral to the storyline.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Break of Day is the third and final book in the Annie Pederson series by Colleen Coble. I recommend that you read this series one right after another to keep up with the different story lines.

This book was captivating, totally captivating. I was pulled into this book from the first page. I found I couldn’t put it down! I loved all the characters. They were well developed and very relatable. The suspense from the various twists and turns will keep you on edge till the very end. I love how the author weaves God's messages of faith, trust and love into the storyline. Colleen Coble does not disappoint and I’m anxiously waiting for her next book.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

I was so happy to read the conclusion of Annie’s story. There are many twists and turns throughout.
The characters are well developed. There is a stark reminder that sometimes we really don’t know the people around us. The heart is deceitful and wicked and without the love of Christ, many hearts grow cruel and cold.
This book is about many new beginnings. This life comes with loss and yet, we can look for the blessing of today.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. My opinions are my own.

Break of Day is book 3 in the Annie Pederson series by Colleen Coble.
I've read book one and somehow missed book two in this series and still enjoyed book three.

I like how she keeps the suspense high. I was riveted from page one and up till early morning hours finishing this book.
Coble’s pacing kept the plot moving just at the right pace.
And her character development was done so well.
Skillfully plotted and utterly engrossing. I couldn't stop reading once I started.

Thank You Netgalley and Thomas Nelson for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this eARC!

"Break of Day" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. It's the third book in a series, and it's a direct continuation of the previous novels, so it's best to read them in order. There were a number of threads to the story, both relationship tensions (with Annie's sister, her daughter and Jon, etc.) and the continuing investigation into women going missing and later found murdered.

Annie investigated the ongoing murders. She asked good questions, and Jon helped her on occasion. The suspense came from the danger to Annie, Sarah, Jon, and others. Annie was awesome at the end. The main characters were engaging, complex, and reacted realistically to events. They found healing as they spent more time together. Sarah learned more about God's forgiveness. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting novel.

This is book 3 of 3 of the Annie Pederson Novels. To get the full benefit of this riveting story, the first two books in this series should be read first. There is the risk however, of all three keeping you up all night turning the pages. I think Colleen Coble is the queen of inspirational, romantic suspense. Each book I read of hers is always my new favorite. She has a beautiful gift of telling intriguing stories.
Annie Pederson’s life is finally settling down; her younger sister, Sarah, who was kidnapped years earlier is back, and Annie is working at repairing their relationship, the love of her life, Jon has returned and the relationship between her daughter, Kylie and Jon is getting better each day. Annie is even dreaming of a ring on her finger sometime soon.

Being a law enforcement officer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan proves to be challenging at times, however, Anne thrives on her job of protecting her community and those she loves. Unexpectedly, a prisoner, who is in the hospital, under watch, manages to escape. It also becomes apparent that visitors to the area, including many hikes, are mysteriously disappearing in the woods, with no clue to what has happened to them. Annie is suddenly emerged in this dangerous case and without warning, she and Sarah are the ones being pursued. When Jon comes to their rescue, he becomes a victim as well.

There are many surprising twists and turns, including a shocking revelations in this gripping story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page was turned. The character development in all of Colleen’s books bring them to life and are very relatable, that even when the book is finished, I can’t help but continue to think about them for a while.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All comments and opinions expressed are my own.

This book, written by a talented and gifted author, is a cannot put down story. The characters come alive on the pages. The story moves quickly. The main character is reunited with her first love after her husband dies. Chaos ensues with her husband’s parents…secrets…red herrings…I like books by this author. I really like this author. If I could give this book more than five stars I would. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author. Enjoy

I hope this isn’t the last we see of Annie and Jon. I really enjoyed their story. I liked how Kylie was a typical 8 year old who can change her mind so quickly.
I think what I liked the most though, was how the author let us know that Annie helped her through a very hard in her life. I also lost my father to Alzheimer’s and I extend my sympathy.

Like the lyrics to Disney’s “So Close”, Annie is “so close to reaching that famous happy ending”. This is the third book in this series and I. My opinion it is the best.

Everything in her life finally seems to be going well, until it wasn’t. Annie has to race against time to save some hikers who have gone missing. The hunter soon becomes the hunted for knowing too much.

I received a free copy from Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

BREAK OF DAY is the final novel in the Annie Pederson trilogy by COLLEEN COBLE and I am really sad to say goodbye to Annie, Jon Durham and their eight year old daughter Kylie, to name a few of the inhabitants of Rock Harbor, where Annie is a law enforcement officer. Whilst the novel can stand alone I suggest you read the series in order for pure pleasure.
This spine chilling roller coaster of a story, which shows the inhumanity of man at his worst, will keep you guessing until the end - will Annie and Jon have their “happily ever after” and will Annie get the chance to reconcile with her siser Sarah?……
I am not going to tell you any more as I do not want to spoil things for you.
I found Break of Day, with its well worked out plot, interesting characters, and strong Christian message of overcoming fear, an exciting and inspirational read, and cannot recommend the novel highly enough.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson, The opinions in this review are completely my own.
