Wow, just from the cover I knew this was going to be epic. It did not disappoint. Loved it! I want more.

Admittedly not quite my usual read though close I suppose. I loved the characters until I didn’t and I can’t say my love for Asher stayed true through the book. It was a very Tamlin effect where I loved him until he wasn’t great.

But the storyline was quite cute though very odd. I would have liked more backstory on Asher and more of a finish to this story but it was captivating nonetheless. Will I read the second book? Honestly after getting a bit of it at the end of this arc probably not, I already know enough of the book to not really be interested in the characters, but another book with Asher and Liam I would read.

"This book was an interesting romp through the omegaverse. We follow Liam as he meets Asher who works at a omega brothel, and they quickly develop an infatuation. Unfortunately, this book does not really feel like a love story. The two main characters didn't feel like they were ultimately good for each other. Liam is very new to love, and hasn't had a chance to be in a relationship with someone who would treat him well. Asher wants freedom and somewhat gets it, but mostly ends up trapped in a domestic life that seems exactly the opposite of something he'd want. I would not believe these two would be together still except for the fact that they're bondmates."

While the pregnancy trope is not my cup of tea, I enjoyed the characters! I especially enjoyed the sneak peek of the next book.

I was put out of my comfort zone with this novel but overall it is a well written book. The author skillfully crafted a world in which the dynamics between alpha, beta, and omega characters are complex and nuanced. The main characters were well-written and had distinct personalities that drew me into their story. The erotic scenes were steamy and well-paced. Even though mpreg is definitely a bit wild for me, I still thought it was done tastefully.

The relationship between Liam and Asher was very interesting to me. I loved how captivated Liam was with Asher and how Asher felt the same but refused to let go of who he wanted to be. (Even if it lead to unhealthy decisions)

For those who are into BL and the omegaverse, this book is well done and perfect for the genre.

I’ve never intentionally read an mpreg story before, and I’m not sure it’s for me but I’m also a bit obsessed with this author so…

What I loved the most was the rejection of traditional designation roles. Our Omega (Asher) finds he’s very dominant and our Alpha (Liam) works really hard to embrace a submissive role because he just wants any life that includes Asher. Especially after Asher gets pregnant.

There’s a lot of angst in this one - Asher never wanted to be tied down or have children but he does love Liam so he runs away and comes back and spends a lot of the book pretty conflicted.

The ending was a bit abrupt for me. I wasn’t totally convinced that Asher was happy in the life he spent years trying to avoid.

I’m intrigued by book 2 though! I guess my curiosity over mpreg hasn’t been satisfied.

I received a copy for review - all opinions are my own.

Such a cute story. I had a lot of fun reading this and finding ways to relate or to care about the characters. I enjoyed it and look forward to any others in this universe and series!

While I was interested in the premise of the book, the content was pretty average for me. I usually love any a/b/o story I think the reason it wasn’t my absolute fave is that the dynamics were switched. If it was a dominant alpha character and a submissive omega I probably would have adored it even more. It wasn’t awful by any means but it’s not one I would rave about

As a first timer of reading omega verse fiction I’d recommend googling and learning the basic anatomy of the alpha’s, omega’s and beta’s or else you’re going to be extremely confused.

I loved the concept of this story. Liam’s coworkers encourage him to go to the local brothel where he makes a reservation for Asher, an omega who only wishes he was an alpha. Liam quickly falls for the brunette boy but that leads me to the reason I only gave this book three stars.

Even when Liam was proclaiming his love and willing to do anything just to be near Asher, he never showed he felt the same. I’m not sure if this should be labeled a romance if one of the main characters doesn’t return the same love. Although they are bondmates Asher mentions many times he rather not be tied down and that never really changes, even in the end. I’m an avid romance reader so I found myself enjoying Nathans mini story at the end more because of the romance aspect of it.

A quote I really liked from Asher and Liams story was, ‘“You look prettiest when you're all tied up, you know?"
Pretty? Had he seen himself? If he thought I was pretty, then he was absolutely ethereal’

If you don’t mind the lacking romance then I highly recommend this story. It was so interesting to read about a completely different universe and different anatomy, roles.

I found myself drawn into the story right away as Liam a dominant alpha meets Raven at an omega brothel. I Loved their chemistry at first. Liam is just so sweet and easily lovable. The shift of power was a nice change from other alpha/omega stories. I think this was the first story I have read that has done this and I had high hopes for it.

But in all honesty the story left me with a lot mixed feelings.

There were some parts that confused me and pulled me out of the story. Some words that were used didn’t really fit. Luckily it wasn’t too major. Also sometimes the whole mood would change abruptly, even Liam pointed out that Asher’s emotions were causing him whiplash and I feel it was so fitting because that was how I kept feeling. Sometimes Asher would be sullen, then super happy and then horny and then demanding/dominant (sometimes out of the blue). And in all honesty real selfish sometimes. I started feeling bad for Liam. Some of the sex was super hot and some… well talking about puke in the middle of getting head yeah...not a turn on. I was completely thrown and bleh.

Interesting read but I wish I’d really understood things better, or been able to understand Asher better in a way that made me like him. His choices just made me so mad.

This book was so much fun! I read it in one sitting.
The struggles of the characters come to life, and, in contrast of her other book, Eve Healy convinces me of the struggles of both characters and of their development, which isn't too fast to be real. The character still feel like themselves, but they grow during their time together.
It is a sweet read, inviting to relax, love and melt together with these cute characters, and sometimes be horny together, because some scenes do be spicy!

Read the last book by Eve and sadly won't be reading this one. The last book made me feel uneasy and I don't want to chance doing it again with this one.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would.
From the book description and title, it is obviously an erotica BL novel but it is way more emotional than you would think. Both our main characters have work to do to fully trust each other, especially Raven but Liam is patient and compassionate and ready to give time and space to Raven even if it is against his Alpha nature.

The dynamic of wilful surrender from Liam to Raven was so beautifully written and fully exposes the need for vulnerability of both characters and of a relationship based on personality rather than what their physiology is. I have read many omegaverse including with male omegas but it never delved deeper into power dynamics for male omegas and what their status would mean in society. I enjoyed discovering more of what Eve Healy created here in terms of an omegaverse world and what she adds to this sub-genre.

The intimate scenes between both characters were very steamy of course but also very sweet and it made me feel like every detail was serving the purpose of depicting the vulnerability of the characters and building intimacy between them.

Dominate Me by Eve Healy is a captivating boys' love novel set in the omegaverse that tells the story of Liam, a dominant alpha who never had any interest in omegas until he meets Raven, a mysterious and alluring recessive omega. After winning a fully paid evening at the nearby omega brothel, Liam finds himself inexplicably drawn back to Raven, and their physical connection grows stronger by the day. However, their emotional ties are limited by Raven's refusal to be owned or bonded to any alpha.

The author does an excellent job of exploring the dynamic between Liam and Raven and the struggles they face in trying to reconcile their instincts and desires. The story is told from Liam's perspective, and the reader gets a deep insight into his thoughts and feelings as he navigates his attraction to Raven.

The relationship between the two main characters is complex and nuanced, and the author does a great job of building the tension and chemistry between them. The sex scenes are steamy and well-written, but what really makes this book stand out is the emotional depth and complexity of the characters.

Overall, Dominate Me is an excellent addition to the omegaverse genre and a must-read for fans of boys' love novels. It explores themes of dominance, submission, and emotional vulnerability in a way that is both compelling and thought-provoking. Highly recommended.

Okay so this is the first omegaverse book I've read after lots and lots of manga and fanfiction, so I had my expectiations.
At first I thought there was everything in it: angst, fluff, spice. There wasn't the typical dynamic alpha/omega dynamic either, because the omega was the dominating one, so I was invested.
BUT the second half was kinda unsatisfying. Liam did nearly everything he could, but ther was no commitment from Ashers part. Even after finishing the book, I still don't know, If Asher really wanted this relationship, if he is happy with where he ended and if the relationship has a future.
There should have been a last chapter to conclude a bunch of open questions.
But all in all it was a nice read and finally something completely new, at least for me.

A huge thank to Netgalley and Eve Healy for giving me a chance to read Dominate me in exchange for my honest review.

Let's start by saying that, the omegaverse vibes were immaculate. As someone who has read more than a few stories with the omegaverse trope, I had high expectations and was not disappointed.
Liam was perhaps the sweetest alpha to ever exist and he was so thoughtful and considerate of Raven at all given times, it was the very least swoon worthy. His connection with Raven and his struggle to not be like any othere Alpha were the driving force of this story, as was Liam fighting his instincts and not scare Raven away. It made me root for him from the beginning and I was aching with him when he was seperated from Raven.
As for the MM action, oh boy it was hot. This is a BL novel and going in you are prepared for some steamy scenes and in all honesty it was some of the best written action I've read in this context (and I've read plenty).
I couldn't find any trigger warnings but two : mentions of abortion and mentions of forced sex/rape.
That alone made this novel a cute and pleasant read and the bonus content with Nathan -this story's instigator- had my reader heart jumping with joy because the only question I had when i finished the book was "what about Nathan ?" and then I had my answer and i was not expecting that for him. All I can say is that all of the boys had their happy ending.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for my advanced readers copy of Dominate Me.
Content Warnings: Male pregnancy
Liam is an alpha and one night (through circumstances) he finds himself at an omega brothel. Right away he is drawn to an omega named Raven. Liam and Raven find them enjoy each other’s company and Liam comes back again. However, will these two be able to have a relationship knowing Raven’s past? Will Raven let Liam break down his walls he put up to protect himself? Or will Raven slip out of Liam’s grasp?
I won’t lie, I did not love this book. However, I did not hate it. I wasn’t expecting an accidental pregnancy trope and I do not like that trope in the slightest. I did enjoy reading about Liam and Raven’s relationship tho. I was rooting for them the whole time. Everything about this book was fine. However, I LOVED the bonus chapter at the end from Liam friend’s point of view. So obviously I had to read the second book.
I would recommend this book to those who like alpha and omega universe, but also those who want a quick read with some romance!

Not at all what I was expecting to be completely honest. I’m still a bit conflicted about how much I can actually say I liked it. And omega verse romance story very spicy that was completely controversial. The original idea is one I really liked it. Considering the story of a recessive omega that wanted to go against every possible rules imposed by the society and didn’t want to get marked. And the character of Liam is definitely one I loved, with our sweet and caring and respectful he was. But when the fear of seeing it all disappear turned into stubbornness … that was the point when this book lost me a bit. Anyway it was a good book to read and once again don’t let yourself be fooled by the cover !!!
