(A huge thank you to Courtney Peppernell and Andrews McMeel Publishing for letting me read this ARC)

I honestly loved this book! I often seem to forget just how beautiful poetry is and then these types of books comes along to remind me.

This was definitely a hug and a friend in a poetry book and I fell in love with a lot of the poems I read. This book was not only heartbreakingly beautiful but also sweet and inspiring and I feel like a lot of people need to hear the message this book holds at least once in their life and I highly recommend anyone to read this!

And I honestly am a little sad that I haven’t read any of Courtney’s other works because if they are just as good as this poetry book was then I might’ve found my new favourite poetry author.

After reading so many of Peppernell's books, this ends up feeling a bit repetitive, though I did enjoy reading these poems. A good book to read if you're going through a tough time. Rating: 3/5 stars.

Nice collection of introspective poems. Nothing really to rave about but enjoyable nonetheless. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

I was not familiar with poet, Peppernell, before reading this collection, so I had no idea what to expect. I hoped from the cover that there was some kind of magic inside.

What I did find within these pages was an author who felt honest in the feelings, struggles and emotions that make up the text. There were also additional illustrations to be found.

Anyone who has experienced emotions similar to the poet’s will, I think, feel understood in these pages. Dip into any sections that appeals; these include Reflecting, Repairing, Change, Awakening, Emerging, and Rebirth. It is a story of a journey.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this title. All opinions are my own.

I really liked this book! I've never read a poetry book that was set up this way, and I thought that the writing style was very unique. I loved how this book explored the importance of self-love, putting yourself first, and to be gentle with yourself when going through hard times. I was able to relate to a lot of the poems in this book. I'll definitely be checking out more work from this author.

Courtney Peppernell is a talented poet. Time Will Tell is thought-provoking and beautifully raw. I wasn't expecting the theme to be so heavy and lengthily, sadly it just wasn't for me until the last third or so of the collection which I loved and connected with.

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I think it's safe to say that this poetry collection simply wasn't for me. I tried to push my way through because I really enjoyed Courtney's previous works and because it's a poetry collection but I just simply couldn't do it. It didn't held my attention and I defintely won't be trying this one again.

There are so many pieces that resonated with me. The moment this is released I will be buying it and rereading it and then throwing it at my friends to make them read it as well.

"And I understood that this is what it means to watch reinvention, to see someone find their worth. So beautiful in the way they learn to fly, such grace in the way they have healed."

2.5, rounded up. I just really didn't click with this one. I will commend Peppernell for the variety of style and structure. Some people are written as short essays, with some rhymes, and the more conventional poems range in stanzas and patterns. That said, when you take the entire book into consideration, all this variety feels disjointed. There's little binding some of the sections together, and certain poems feel completely out of place. A lot of the motifs are repetitive to the point where it no longer feels like callbacks, and more like "what, haven't I read this before?" – that's not to mention the somewhat cheesy tone. Some of the poems should've been cut out and perhaps saved for a different volume, as this collection ends up feeling far too long for what it offers.

Another good collection from Peppernell.

Her voice shines through similar to her previous collections. Peppernell has a way of blending mystical with poetry and create a cozy story that makes you want to come home at the end of the day and curl up with a good book and cup of tea.

Courtney Peppernell is an absolute gem within the poetry community. Her collections are filled with such heart wrenchingly beautiful poems, and this latest collection was no exception. I would actually say that this collection is among my favorites of hers. Time Will Tell is a hauntingly beautiful book, filled with profoundly introspective poems. It delves deeply into your soul and makes you take a look at your life and choices you have made, and gives new perspective into how you see yourself. The way in which she beautifully crafted and penned these poems helps you to discover more about your inner self and to evolve as a person and give new meaning to loving yourself more and changing your life for the better. If you are going through a loss, whether of self and/or someone else, you will draw strength and comfort from the words etched into the pages of these poems. Peppernell’s words are powerful and healing, and is a much needed reminder that no matter how hard things may get, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The beautiful images sprinkled throughout the book help to further aide in comfort and healing. A beautiful book with powerfully beautiful words.

I felt the heartache, the hope, and lastly, the peace this book covers in the process of healing. It is a gentle reminder to all, that no matter how hard life gets, no matter how much it hurts, there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, if one only looks for it.

Time Will Tell by Courtney Peppernell is another deep and moving book of poetry and musings from an expert on capturing the ebb and flow of humanity on paper. This book seemed to be focused on different types of grief and how we move through those experiences. As always, Courtney's poetry spoke to the hidden away places in my heart and were so cathartic to read. I love this collection and would definitely recommend it to any fan of her work.

There are people who are going to adore this book of poetry. Objectively, the writing style and content are going to make some reader feel very seen and they will quote this on their Instagram for months following its publication. While I am not this person, I recognize that, of people who read poetry, I am likely the minority here. I was disappointed to find that I couldn't connect myself, even though this style of poetry is completely up my alley. But between the attempts to be phisolophical that fell short and the contextual ambiguity, this particular book just didn't do it for me. That being said, I still recognize how much other people are going to love and connect with this piece of work, so my own opinion will not affect what I believe is an objective rating of 4 stars.

Courtney Peppernell is one of my favorite writers when it comes to poetry, and this collection did not disappoint.

This book is lovely. The illustrations are lovely, the prose is lovely, the rhythm in the words and sentences are lovely.

Make no mistake that these poems deal with heavy subjects and strong themes like loss, love, depression, heartbreak and death so definitely read with caution if this triggers you.

The introduction is wonderful and made me feel like I was being invited inside a secret, little world where everything was made just for me. It made me want to continue and discover every little poem.

Each poem in this collection is emotional, meaningful and moved me; made me think and reflect on myself and the world around me, and what more than that can you really ask for when it comes to poetry?

I am giving this book a three star rating only because I understand why people would enjoy this. I was very bored and uninterested the entire time. I don't feel it's fair for me to give a lower rating because it just didn't vibe with me.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley,

Courtney Peppernell's work is truly amazing. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but man, do I love their work.

I always find so many poems i resonate with. And I think that's part of what makes her work so special. Her ability to put into words what so many of us feel.

This book is beautiful. Get it.
