This is an interesting look at how mental approximations, while necessary to prevent cognitive overload, can profoundly impact human behavior, relationships, and culture. Covering diverse disciplines from physics to marketing to neuroscience, the book shows how oversimplification and incomplete knowledge can lead to closed-mindedness and poor decision-making.
