So this book hurt my feelings more than once. Robbie was the newest wolf addition to the pack after he was sent down to keep an eye on things in Wolfsong. He ended up feeling like Gordo's younger brother and family to everyone else. In the start of this book, we're watching Robbie do things and everything feels just a smidge off. It has to be things that happened before he joined the Bennet Pack. It has to. Except.

Robbie has to do a series of deep dives to figure out who he is and where he fits into the pack again. He doesn't trust anyone or himself for a long time. He's horrified by the things that are happening and has to fight his way back. Kelly is lovely and willing to meet Robbie wherever he is. I loved that he never pushed or lied to spare Robbie's feelings. What happened, happened and moving forward is the only path.

I am still waiting on the novella of Werewolf Cop because there's no way Tanner and Chris didn't write one.

Thank you to Tor and Netgalley for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC! WOW! Heartsong was such an amazing book in an already great series. I loved getting to know more about Robbie and Kelly and their dynamic. Their way of loving was so pure and authentic it tugged at your heartstrings.

At times, I thought that the book was a little long and some of the choices made were slightly annoying but overall it was an incredible book! I'm so glad these books were picked up to be traditionally published.
