‘Rewild the World at Bedtime’ written by Emily Hawkins.

My son and I enjoyed reading this as his bedtime story over the course of a few weeks. This book includes 20 bedtime stories about different projects around the world that talk about bringing animals back to the wild. We enjoyed traveling around the world before going to bed. It was interesting to learn of various unique species that are threatened with extinction and the various ways around the world these scenarios are being addressed.

Thank you #NetGalley and #QuatroPublishing #WideEyedEditions for the opportunity to preview this book in exchange for a review. All opinions and thoughts are those of my own. #Rewild #RewildtheWorldatBedtime #RewildBedtime

Thank you to the author, Wide Eyed Editions and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a wonderful book for both children and adults, to help understand the global ecosystem and how so many factors influence our natural world. Various projects on all continents and the oceans are presented, each on 4-5 pages, well-researched and highlighting the positive effects of restoration of habitats. The illustrations are very well-done, and encourage the reader to find out more about each project - one of the most hopeful books I can recall reading, highly recommend!

Pictures are well done and add a lot to the story. A wide variety of places and animals chosen which is nice. I loved seeing the way different animals have come back. A bit long for a bedtime story. My kids would have demanded I finish the book before they slept and it is a bit wordy.

as always, wide eyed publications have come up with another beautiful book. I don't think I could ever dislike any of their publications.

I’m pasting the same thing that I said about Floral Folklore, because all that I said there applies to this book as well: When I requested this book, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t accessible via Kindle. I tried to read it through my phone’s NetGalley app, but since my phone is nearly a decade old and has a very small screen, I gave up, because the tiny print was making my headache even worse. It’s a shame, because I think that I would really like this book, if I could access it elsewhere.

Beautiful stories and illustrations about people rewilding their environment. I enjoyed learning about the nature/wildlife and their habitat restoration that I have never known. This will definitely inspire kids to think about what they can do in their neighborhood. Educating and also fun to read.

Books with beautiful illustrations and artwork are just the best! This one is absolutely gorgeous. Not only that, but bringing attention to the sweet animals who are endangered was done beautifully. This is a book that people of all ages should own. It would also make a great gift to the animal/nature loves in your life.

I appreciate the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the most hopeful book I've read in a long time. We read so many books that talk about the horrible impacts on the environment, on animal populations declining, etc. And don't get me wrong, we will keep reading those books too because they are important but this book, it was needed. I want my kids to know that there is hope too! That there are helpers. People doing the work and making a difference. I loved every story the author shared with us. Thank you for writing this and I loved learning about rewilding.

Rewild the World at Bedtime is as much charming as aducational and enchanting. The narrative is gentle and well-researched and the artwork is lovely and, Sea Otters... Sea Otters! (OK, I am based toward Sea Otters, but that was just an added plus for me)

This is an absolutely lovely book to read to the kiddos at bedtime and tells of species that are being reintroduced to the wild through the restoration of habitats and how they are an essential part of the global ecosystem. The book represents al continents and the oceans and will surely appeal to sleepy little ones around the world.

A precious book to give to a little one

Thank you to NetGalley and Emily Hawkins for ths absolutely charming ARC. My Review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own
