This book was very steamy. I enjoyed being a part of the thrill of the hunt and heist, as they tried to figure out their next target and country. I thought it was beautiful that Celeste was left with the journal that allowed her to reflect not only on Mentor's life, but the parts of Celeste that made her and her mentor kindred spirits.
Watching Celeste come to terms with herself and Magnus. Them rediscovering what they mean to each other. WOW.
They work well together. very well. The team as a whole, I enjoyed it. I would def read another book that shows them continuing with new heists and thrills.

Charish Reid has become one of my go-to authors, both for personal reading and to hand-sell to customers. I love how real and vibrant her characters are, especially her leading ladies, and she has such a fun, clever voice! And she does such a great job of balancing the emotional connection between her characters and their sexiness, making the love scenes even more enjoyable. The addition of some derring-do in this story was also so great, tipping a good story over to great. Can't wait to see what Reid does next!

Who doesn't love a second-chance romance and treasure hunts?!? The higher the stakes, the better. This book delivered on that! Two former partners, romantically and in crime,e come together one last time for the hunt of a lifetime. What other option do they have but to work together and maybe realize they still have feelings for one another? This book has action, banter, and of course a great romance at its core.
This book is perfect for fans of Ally Carter and Jenna Levine.

3 Stars! Thank you, to the publisher, for this eARC via Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion!
First off, I really enjoyed the “heist” component of the novel. Pair this with a second chance romance trope and you’ve piqued my interest. Felt very engaged while reading and was able to finish it some days after starting. As a note/warning themes of grief and loss were covered but I think they were handled well. Overall, good read.

This is my first read by this author, Ms. Reid and I really enjoyed it. Full of funny, lighthearted, and adventurous and a touch of electric chemistry, then add in just the right amount of emotional tension, this enemies-to-lovers romance hits all the right notes. The sharp banter, simmering resentment, and undeniable pull between the characters create a slow-burn dynamic that feels both authentic and irresistible. Celeste and Magnus made for an enjoyable read. 3.5 stars.

If Mr. & Mrs. Smith and National Treasure had a love child and raised it in Europe with a found family of morally gray charmers, it would look a lot like Jewel Me Twice.
This second-chance romance had everything I was hoping for—high-stakes heists, torrid history, and a chemistry-so-hot-you-could-set-off-alarms. Celeste and Magnus are career criminals turned reluctant partners, thrown back together for one last epic score. Their mission? A globe-trotting jewel heist that plays out like a romantic scavenger hunt across Europe.
Charish Reid balances action and emotion beautifully. You get the thrill of cracking safes and escaping close calls, but also the gut-punch moments where Celeste and Magnus have to face what went wrong between them—and whether they’re brave enough to get it right this time.
The dual POV was especially effective. Getting inside both characters’ heads made their emotional wounds and undeniable pull toward each other feel real. Plus, the found family vibes added heart to the high-octane storyline, and I was absolutely here for it.
Why not five stars? There were a few pacing dips where the emotional flashbacks briefly pulled me out of the forward momentum. But honestly, I barely cared—because the sizzling banter, intricate heist planning, and smoldering slow-burn payoff kept me locked in.
💎 Jewel Me Twice is a love letter to second chances, shiny things, and stealing back your heart—one spark-filled, high-risk job at a time.

I had trouble finishing it and almost gave up. I thought there was going to be more actions. There were holes in the history. I feel like some characters are not well developed and we focus too much on Doris' past.

A sizzling enemies-to-lovers second-chance romance with heists, tension, and found family.
Celeste St. Pierre is an academic and antique store owner by day, but by night she’s a professional thief. She used to work with a team, but not after one royal screw-up that got her second guessing herself. Magnus used to be part of that same tight-knit team and Celeste’s lover until it all went wrong. They’ve avoided each other for 5 years, but are now forced together again and all kinds of sparks fly.
💚 My Take: I’m here for heist-filled romance and this book delivers. There are complex leads, fabulous supporting characters, nail-biting adventure, and plenty of chemistry.
🎧 The dual narration also definitely adds to this story and I recommend listening to this on audio.

😘 Thanks to @CanaryStreetPress for the gifted ARC and to my local public library for the borrowed audiobook. All opinions my own.

I should have been all over this book but by halfway through, I was so very bored and kind of got the ick from Magnus. Some of it just felt so forced and I decided to cut my losses.

"Jewel Me Twice" follows former lovers and still thieves, Magnus and Celeste. They run into each other trying to steal something and then old memories come rushing back. When their former matriarch dies and requests one last heist with the entire crew, they agree, and then "feelings" arise. I thought the love scenes and dialogue worked. But honestly, I think the diary entries from the former head that Celeste was reading got old quick. It wrecked the flow of the book.

A spicy second-chance romance between two international jewel thieves!
Five years ago, Celeste and her partner-in-crime Magnus were on a job that went horribly wrong and they haven’t spoken since. When their former crew leader passes away unexpectedly, they are thrown back together for one more heist.
I love a good heist story and the action sequences in here were great! I will say that I was genuinely not expecting this book to be as spicy as it was! Respectfully, these two spent more time getting freaky than planning their heist, I’m sure of it. And good for them, honestly.
I could have used a little more development for some of our side characters, especially since Reid seems to be setting up the potential for a follow-up novel. I was also less interested in the parts that detailed the former crew leader’s journal entries; those interludes were just not my favorite.
Thank you to the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my review!

thank you to netgalley and canary street press for this eARC!
i am glad i took the time to go back and finish this book. it was fun to read.
overall, their relationship was pretty well developed. they had a solid past that was revealed at what i felt was an appropriate pace. i wish they had had a real conversation about stockholm, because to me it felt more like a “forget about it and move on” ending than a “we’ve discussed and solved our past problems” ending. however, i do think celeste’s development, as well as magnus’s, was handled well. it did feel like they understood their own faults better by the end of the book.
i thoroughly enjoyed the side characters. i would have liked slightly more development for santi, but he was definitely a fun character. i really liked magnus’s relationship with lawrence; i liked all of their relationships with lawrence actually—it was adorable.
i appreciated that the heist was fairly easy to follow and didn’t get too technical, that would’ve felt out of place and made me lose a bit of interest.
all in all, i enjoyed this book and it was a fun change of pace.

loveddd the romance in this book and the missions throughout made it so interesting! It couldve been a movie.

Thank you so much to Canary Street Press & Netgalley for providing an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are still my own.
I was so excited to pick this up - I really want a heist/adventure romance I love. But this one just didn't quite land.
I thought the main characters had fantastic chemistry. And I loved the idea of two agents needing to work together for one final mysterious task.
But all the MCs had was good chemistry. I didn't feel as though there was nothing deeper. Second chance romances are tricky because you need to convince the reader of the depth of their connection when it happened entirely off page.
And this just didn't ever capture that. I kept thinking - but WHY do you like each other? Because all you're talking about is how attractive the other is.
I also didn't find the heist portions to be engaging enough to carry the plot. There was soooo much planning and moving around and it started to feel like the plot was just happening to them. Not like they were creating it.
I've really enjoyed other books from this author, this one just wasn't for me in the end.

I loved this story. I enjoyed both the main characters, the banter, the flashes of their history together & apart as well as the fact that it was duel POV and spicy. I honestly would read any and everything that Charish Reid because she writes books that keep me engaged from start to finish.

This book was a fun adventure and always kept me wondering what would happen at the end. This is my second Charish Reid book and I have really liked both of them. I'm excited to see what she writes next.
