Jewel Me Twice was a wonderful venture into the world of mature, not-so-retired thieves and their second chance to get things right.
When Celeste St. Pierre encounters her long lost partner, Magnus Larsson at an event, she chalks it up as a coincidence never to be repeated. But the news of the death of their long time mentor shortly afterwards throws the two of them together once again. Can they work through their differences to fulfill their mentor's final wish?
Charish Reid shows an affinity for teasing the reader with glimpses into the vulnerability of each character, navigating through not only Celeste and Magnus' background, but that of their mentor, creating a story that is hard to put down.

This was a quick yet adorably fun read. It isn’t one that I would typically choose but the cover got me (I’m a sucker for a cute romance cover) and the blurb sounded fun. I really am glad I read it. The characters were fun and cutely connected and who doesn’t want more jewels in their life.

Perfect for fans of Oceans 11, Jewel Me Twice is equal parts steamy second chance romance and exhilarating heist action. After a job gone wrong five years prior, professional thieves Magnus and Celeste went their separate ways, leaving their crew behind. Now reunited at the behest of their beloved mentor, they have to set aside their grudges and work together to solve the clues she left for them, leading to the score of a lifetime.
The chemistry between Magnus and Celeste produced delicious sexual tension that left them fighting against giving in. I felt that the relationship was well developed throughout the story, though felt a tad bit rushed at the end. The other members of their crew were fascinating characters, and I am hopeful for the possibility of future books following them on new adventures. There were certain elements relating to the heist that felt a bit glossed over, which resulted in the stakes not feeling quite as high for me as they could've been. This, in addition to some language choices here and there that were personal pet peeves, are what kept this from being a five star read for me.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an eArc for review!

I had no idea if I was going to enjoy this book, mainly because I’ve never read a book with a heist being in the center of the story. I enjoyed it very much though! The heist was cool but backstory and the tension really made this romance amazing. If you liked ocean 11, want romance with tension, definitely try this book.

Thank you NetGalley for this arc,
This is a sexy steamy second chance romance heist!!! If you love heist movies especially like Oceans 11 you will love this book.
Celeste is a professional jewel their after a job 5 years ago went bad she left her crew and opened an antiques store still doing small jobs. She gets a letter from her old mentor who recently passed away for one more job. This means she has to work with Magnus, a man who she used to work with and be involved with. Celeste teams up with magnus and the rest of the crew for an adventure throughout Europe to complete this highly ambitious job. As she works out who her mentor really was she realizes she still has feelings for Magnus and if she is to reveal her real true self to anyone it would be him.
Another great book from Charish Reid, very paced, steamy boy does Magnus have a filthy mouth on him, fun and emotional at times.

This was a fun and different read. I loved the idea of them being thief's. The format was kind of weird but I’m chalking that up to it being a rough draft. Hopefully we get bea and santi’s story after this. That could be really interesting

This book was so so good!! Especially if you love those heist shows on Netflix. This really did feel like a second chance romance where the main couple weren't even sure if it was a good idea to be together again all while still fighting there VERY much there feelings and sexual tensions. And whew don't you just love people with their own individual backage who only get vulnerable around the person they love AH.
Celeste was so stubborn and set in her ways while Magnus was also very stubborn and very closed up, but as the story goes on i loved seeing how much they confided in each other and had to compromise or see how similar they've been but also how they've both changed over the years that they hadn't kept in contact with each other. I also love how immediately sassy they were with each other. Like the chemistry flames are very much alive between them
The crew! The heist element! Whew so much fun! I felt like I wad watching a movie or series and everything was so so well laid out. And very much giving grown found family vibes!
And the spicy scenes....YES GAWD!!! the dirty talking had my eye twitching. I love a reversal of roles in the bedroom vs outside the bedroom. Like Magnus really loves him some Celeste WHEW!!
There was also moments of grief that really pulled on my emotions and I loved reading the journal entries and seeing Celeste show up in them through that characters eyes and the final one UGH my heart.
I really REALLY hope that Beatrice and Santi get a book AAHH!!
But I def will be rereading.

4.5 stars!
A romance and a heist is everything I look for! So yes, this book worked VERY well for me! There was good banter and lots of tension between our main characters. I appreciated that both main characters were fully fleshed out and learned things about themselves and each other along the way!
The heist was my favorite part to read about. Definitely a fun ride that I highly recommend picking up!

Professional thieves Celeste and Magnus meet after a 5 yr separation. Their mentor's last wish for them is to pull off the theft of the century and they'll have to work together.
There is still a lot of unresolved feelings on both side and a lot of attraction.... I love the tension and the banter in the book. It's fast moving. Terrific fun heist book!
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

ANOTHER CHARISH WINNER! Let me start with the cons because I hate people thinking I'm a laid back reviewer. The formatting for the ARC was terrible. One hundred percent made the first couple POV switches really jarring. That all being said, I loved the story. The world could use more active 40-something doing cool stuff like being international jewel thieves having a second chance at love with their person! There is nothing wrong with aging and this book barely dwelled on that aspect except to point out the timeline of events. These two were being sexy, having fun, and getting stuff done all while avoiding the stereotypical humdrum lazy pitfalls other writers sometimes fall into by writing 40 year olds as "too late for life." The combination of romance, heist, and mentorship REALLY made this a fantastic read. Going to be recommending this HEAVY.

I looooooved this read. Fun, exciting, adventurous, and sexy. Everything one could ask for.
This group is reunited after 5 years to fulfill the final wishes of their now deceased mentor. After a heist gone wrong there are many unresolved feelings and fears brought back up as they work together again.
Celeste and Magnus were so interesting and fun, both with well developed backstories and reasonings. I loved their dynamic and how they were both working through stuff. It’s wonderful to read about leads who have lived full lives and experiences but are still learning about themselves.
I loved the heist plot line as a romance novel, like oceans 11 meets rom com, so fun! The group dynamic and history between them as they follow mysterious clues kept me interested and excited to read more.

This was my first Charish Reid book and also my first "thief heist" book and both are new favorites of mine!
I LOVED the way Charish went back and forth between using the diary for background perspective and jumping forward to current times.

Thank you @netgalley and @htpbooks for the advanced copy!

If you want something quick, cute and somewhat spicy, this is a fun option.

I just fell in love with this story, it was engaging and intense, and kept me flipping the pages as fast as I could read them.

Eh kinda fun little romance! The characters were decent and the whole thing sorta worked. Thanks so much for the arc!

AHHH this was such a fun read! I was so into this story and I absolutely fell in love with both Celeste and Magnus, they are quite the pair. There chemistry was amazing and dang that tension was everything!! Overall, I had the best time reading this.
