Wow, this is beautiful! The words, the illustrations—all of it.
The story shows a young girl growing from infancy to adulthood and shows the beautiful bond children have with their mothers. Many of us rely on our mothers or mother figures for everything from the day we are born, and sometimes even as adults, we still seek out their help. This book beautifully illustrates that bond.

As a mother, this made me cry. As the young girl got older and eventually went on to become a mother herself, I got very emotional.
I think this would be such a sweet gift for mom from the kids, or even as a baby shower gift.
I will definitely be buying a physical copy when this is released!

I loved this book. The message is so sweet. I know this is a children’s book, but as an adult, it really touched me. This is a great book to remind everyone the importance of their mother.

"Call Your Mother" by Tracy Gold is a delightful children's book that effortlessly weaves together captivating illustrations and a powerful message about the essence of motherhood. As a parent, I couldn't help but be drawn to its charm, making it a must-have in my toddler's growing library.

The illustrations in the book are nothing short of stunning, capturing the attention of both children and adults alike. However, what truly sets "Call Your Mother" apart is its resonant message.

As a mother to an energetic toddler, I often find myself wondering (and sometimes complaining) why my child constantly calls for me, seeking assistance and comfort. This book serves as a gentle reminder that, amid the chaos of parenting, there is profound beauty in being the one your child turns to.

It's a very simple book that stirred so much emotion from me. "Call Your Mother" serves as a poignant reminder to slow down and savor the precious moments of parenthood. It encourages our children and us parents to embrace these moments when our children call for us.

I eagerly anticipate sharing its magic with my toddler, and other mothers.

This was a beautiful children's book with a great message and gorgeous illustrations. I am lucky to have a mom like this who I constantly reach out to for love and support. This is a book I'd love to read to my own children someday as I hope they'd also feel safe to come to me during any of these scenarios for support and guidance.

Adding this to my list of books to gift for sure!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this before publication,

As a stepmother who is the only mother figure in my daughter’s life, I search for books that discuss healthy relationships between kids and their mothers & stepmothers. Books are so important in a child’s development and understanding of the world around them. And my girl is a little reader! I can’t wait to read this book with her. The artwork is stunning. The colors alone make the book pop. What this book brings to the table is that we get to see the relationship between the mother and daughter evolve over the course of their lives, emphasizing the fact that as children, especially girls, in healthy, functional homes, we look to our mothers for basically everything (at least I did, and still do). This book is relatable for mothers because it shows that we don’t know everything and rely on the wisdom of our mothers to help us navigate life,

On second thought, I can’t wait to read this with my daughter and mother, since it talks about daughters, mothers, and grandmothers.

Gold with illustrations by Vivian Mineker, is a heartwarming tale that beautifully explores the lifelong bond between mother and child, meriting a flawless five-star rating. This was an endearing read that beautifully illustrates the profound connection between a mother and her daughter, and how this bond continues to thrive eternally throughout life. It also highlights how appreciation and gratitude deepen when one becomes a mother herself. I was disappointed by the brevity of the book.

Simple but powerful.

A whole journey in just a few pages. As a parent of littles, it definitely tugged at my heartstrings. I think this would make a really nice baby shower gift, in particular.

I received an e-arc of this book through NetGalley.

I read this with my sons and it really was such a wonderful read! It’s short enough that it kept their interest and they enjoyed sounding out words to read back to me. It gives great examples of how we need our mom throughout all stages of life. The end may have made me shed a tear or two. Highly recommend this sweet book to anyone with littles.

This is a special story of the bond between mother and child. It reminds me a bit of love you forever. The repetition is nice for the younger age.

From my 3 year old, “I love the potty page. And I also call for my mommy”

A lovely book. I read it with my 3 year old daughter who was very intrigued by the generations and relating them back to our family. As a mother of 4, this book pulled on my heartstrings, right from the change in the word that the child uses to call mother, the illustrations and the concept of the book. The illustrations were lovely and I appreciated the details of all the aging and emotions. Excellent book. Thanks for sharing!

This little book is for everybody, not only kids.
It talks about what a Mother does for her children (in this case a daughter) and how the things changes meanwhile their grows up but the Mother there will be always for them.
Many mothers should read this, for learn how much their role is important.
The art style of the drawings is beautiful, very enchanting and warm. Especially color palette.
I love it!
Obviously all the topic of this book is also about what a father, a grandfather, grandmother, uncle or a carekeeper can do for a kid.
