*cries from pure love* I just love this book so much! From the beginning it has you rooting for these two. My only complaint ..it’s not nearly long enough. I can not wait to purchase a physical copy and to read many more books from Andie.
An easy 5 stars .
Thank you NetGalley and Andie Burke for the incredible opportunity to read an Arc of their upcoming book coming out on sept 3rd ,2024

I loved the story, the world building and meeting the different characters. I felt completely immersed in the story and couldn't stop reading it.

This was a cute read! If you enjoyed Fly with Me, this is a great second book. This book could be read as a standalone, but one of the main characters (Derek) is heavily featured in Fly with Me, so it does provide helpful context.
The characters and their story are fun, and I really loved the cast of side characters on both sides. It was also really nice to see Jodi getting a front seat as a secondary character in this book.
There’s also a lot of ADHD rep, and it was done in a realistic and and positive way.
I did feel like the book was a little long and slow, and I think it could have been shorter.
I hope we see Jodi’s book next!

It's impossible not to fall for these two guys. I wanted them to work out from the very first chapter. This novel skillfully navigates the enemies-to-lovers trope. The characters, Dylan and Derek, are captivating, and the author handles Dylan’s ADHD with sensitivity. While some clichés appear, they serve to advance the plot. The intimate scenes are passionate, but the evolving relationship between the protagonists remains the highlight. Overall, it’s an engaging read that kept me hooked. Thank you Andie Burke and NetGalley for the arc. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I fell completely in love with Derek and Dylan. And Gus. I actually laughed out loud multiple times. This enemies to lovers rom-com just charmed me to no end. Something about these characters and the writing in general just made me feel like I was reading about my friends. They felt so familiar and real.
I really loved their banter, their back-and-forth.The way they spoke to each other felt authentic. It felt the way people in real life speak to each other. It never came off as scripted or forced.
Both Dylan and Derek had really interesting, lively, and fun family dynamics. I do wish we had gotten a little bit more closure with Derek's sister. But overall, I like the way the different families interacted with them and kind of grew together throughout this book. Derek at Dylans family gathering was one of my absolute favorite moments.
I loved this book and the characters. And I really hope Felicity gets a book. And Joni, too. There are so many interesting side characters I would love to know more about.

My first Andie Burke book! This was cute and the characters had depth. I did struggle a bit with the writing and differentiating between past and present. All in all a good addition to the mm romance genre. Thank you To Netgalley and the publisher for an earc!

A sweet and humorous read with some emotional motions tucked in there too. The idea of crashing into your hot neighbor's apartment that you have secretly been eyeing and who for some reason has the ick for you, gave me second hand embarrassment. For about a few minutes. Then, I started laughing because the idea of it--yeah how could you not laugh?
However, when we move on from that to learning a bit more about both characters, we start to see how lovely they are and how they fit together. It was endearing. I don't think I have read Andi Burke before, but I doubt this will be last one.
ARC provided by NetGalley, and I have given my honest and voluntary review.

3/3.25 ⭐️
This was fun, it had me laughing and crying with our MMCS. You really go in a ride with our two main characters as they’re both dealing with heavy issues. I believe it makes both of them very relatable and easy to connect with.
The banter was top tier and i really enjoyed their story overall. It was a quick read, but it didn’t feel like it was very memorable or relatable. I feel like i won’t remember the story 3-4 days from now.
It was fun tho, i had a good time.

Completely obsessed with this book. After a huge book slump this book brought me out of it and I could not put it down. I love the author’s writing! The characters were complex and detailed and it was great to see the story pan out. Could not put it down!

"Fall for Him" by Andie Burke is an absolute delight, mixing humor, heart, and genuine emotion in the best way. Dylan and Derek’s dynamic is electric, full of witty banter and undeniable chemistry that transforms their initial animosity into a slow-burn romance. Burke’s writing perfectly captures the chaos of everyday disasters and the beauty of unexpected connections, making you root for these two from start to finish. The characters are richly developed, and their journey from chaos to cozy companionship is both hilarious and touching. This book is a refreshing take on the enemies-to-lovers trope, packed with charm and warmth. It's a feel-good read that leaves you smiling long after the last page.

At the current moment, I will be withholding from providing my ARC review for Fall for Him by Andi Burke until St. Martin's Press addresses, the demands and concerns of the boycott, which is still currently in effect as we speak in May 2024. Once the demands and concerns have been fully addressed and accountability has been taken by the St. Martin's Press for the situation which had occurred, I will then be able to provide the publisher with my honest & truthful opinion on the ARC of Andie Burke's upcoming release, which will be taking place in the month of September 2024!

This was a cute read! The poor dad jokes, the sarcastic and sassy internal dialogue felt too real, and it was cute to watch their relationship blossom. It was interesting to watch and see how they were connected and how they interpreted each other's relationship with that person, and how it impacted their relationship path. There were times I wanted to be like "oh my gosh stop assuming and just talk!" but I also know some of that is real life and in situations like that can be difficult. This was an enjoyable read that I devoured in one day!
Thank you NetGalley for this eARC!

When I got the invite for Fall for Him, I was excited to read it. I had read Fly with Me and enjoyed Olive and Stella’s romance, so I was giddy when I realized that this was Derek’s romance. Derek was one of my favorite secondary characters in Fly with Me, and I was hoping he would get his own book.
While these books are technically not in a series, I recommend reading Fly with Me before reading Fall for Him. That first book gives a lot of background about Derek (which should have been my first clue there would be a book 2). The author goes over everything rather quickly in Fall for Him. However, the nuances and relationships are fully explained in Fly with Me.
The main storyline of Fall for Him centers around Dylan and Derek and their romance. The book literally begins with Dylan falling through the floor onto Derek’s bed and taking off from there. I found the storyline to be well-written, funny, and often sad.
The romance angle of Fall for Him was slow. While Dylan and Derek had feelings for each other, some major misunderstandings kept popping up. The most major one (and the one that broke my heart) was Dylan and Derek’s relationship with Olive’s deceased brother. That relationship and what Derek thought he knew about it almost derailed Dylan and Derek’s romance. Besides that, it was fun to see a relationship that was true to life.
Dylan’s mental health issues were also a considerable part of the book. As the mother of a daughter who has severe ADHD, I applaud the author for her true-to-life depiction of ADHD. Everything that Dylan experienced in the book mirrored things that my daughter has experienced. It was refreshing to read a book where ADHD wasn’t demonized or put down.
A secondary storyline runs throughout the book involving a nosey HOA president. I couldn’t believe her audacity and the power trip she was on because of that title. I will give a small snippet of what Carol did:
Tried to tell Derek that renovating an apartment was against HOA rules (it wasn’t)
Broke into Derek’s apartment with a spare key given to her (it was in case of an emergency)
Tried to have Dylan’s younger sister arrested for breaking and entering.
And my favorite
Accused Dylan of making porn in his apartment.
And that isn’t even all of it. Carol made me mad and even more determined not to end up in a building or house with an HOA.
The author also touches upon workplace violence (Dylan is an ER nurse) and sibling bullying (his father and brothers mercilessly bully Dylan). It is essential to understand that both happen, but only workplace violence gets any attention if brought up. Seeing how Dylan was treated by his father and brothers was heartbreaking.
The end of Fall for Him was perfect, and the epilogue had me laughing and crying. I will never hear “Death to the Patriarchy” again without picturing Dylan’s niece. I am also looking forward to seeing if there will be another book.
Many thanks to St. Martin’s Press, St. Martin’s Griffin, NetGalley, and Andie Burke for allowing me to read and review this ARC of Fall for Him. All opinions stated in this review are mine.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I LOVED Fly with me so I was over the moon when I received an ARC of Fall for Him.
Andie Burke did not disappoint. Wow. I spent all of Memorial day reading this book and I'm so sad that I'm finished.
Dylan and Derek's banter and enemies to lovers story line was so charming. I also loved all the side characters who helped them find their love story. Felicity is such a fun sister (I really hope she gets her own HEA next); and having Olive pop in and out was also a fun addition. I liked how Andie wrote about grief, childhood trauma, family dynamics, and trying to find your own path as an adult (especially one in a very large family-- that definitely hit a personal note for me). Dylan taking charge of his mental health and tirelessly working on himself and Derek trying so hard to be there for everyone in his life that he forgets to ask them what they actually need felt personal. Andie, once again, wrote a book that had real human experiences and emotions instead of one that felt packed with romanticized fluff. Reading this book I really felt like I could see Derek and Dylan being real people and that made me like the book even more.
So thankful I got to read this ARC and I can't wait for others to experience this sweet and heartwarming book!

I absolutely loved Burke’s debut novel, Fly With Me, and was excited to get my hands on Fall For Him. Unfortunately, I struggled to get into the novel for what should be an easily avoidable reason. The names of the two main characters, Derek and Dylan, were too similar and I struggled to remember which was which. Even having to remind myself at the end of the novel. If this isn’t the kind of thing that will bother you I recommend picking this one up. And even if it is, it’s worth a try.
Despite my struggles with the names, I liked the backstory that arose around Dylan’s name. I don’t think this would have been possible with another name so if Derek’s name was already set in Fly With Me then the two five letter D names were likely unavoidable.
The turn around from enemies to lovers was a bit fast for me. The novel started out with them being too proud to talk so they didn’t really clear the air on all the misunderstanding before their relationship evolved. Additionally, I would have liked to see more of the secondary characters as they all had strong personalities that boosted the novel.
Overall, the novel has an interesting premise and complex backstory but was ruined for me by a basic writing don’t.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC!

This is one of those times when the premise of the book is unfortunately better than the execution. The writing for me was a bit messy and jumbled which made it harder to differentiate between flashbacks and real time. There were some back and forth shifts between our MCs relationship and how they interacted with one another which also gave me whiplash. Unfortunately it doesn’t get better as time goes on, the chemistry just felt very off towards the middle and end. I think this book has a lot of potential and with the right edits it could be better.

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for the arc of this book. all opinions are my own.
I will post my full review once SMP address the insensitive comments of their employee.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I enjoyed this book in some ways and thought the set up was really great but better than the execution.
I appreciated the ADHD rep and rep for mental health in general, but a lot of the dialogue was kind of clunky and awkward—sometimes bits would go on for so long that they weren’t actually funny by the end. I thought the two were sweet and had chemistry, it just didn’t work great for me by the end.

Cute book. Deals with serious issues, which made the book and characters more real and relatable.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.
