So I have now read this twice. I wanted to continue the series (at long last) but wanted a refresher and I am glad I took it. So many things I had forgotten or missed. Yet other things I knew were coming which added a curious edge to my re-reading, especially as my memories were vague. I wouldn't want to live in this world. A world where no thoughts are sacred. A world where min-reading is the norm. No thanks. I like my privacy. And then the spin this tosses us about jackers adds a whole new level of crazy. It makes you question things and I really like that in a book.

Reviewing old arcs, have tried to read but couldn't get into. Won't be trying again so no formal review will be posted on social media.

When I first got this, I was super excited about the book. But unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in reading it at this point and I don't want to hold onto it any longer.

I know that everyone has different likes, different tastes...but this book just wasn't for me. The story was well plotted as an idea, but it was poorly executed from what I did read. The story was slow going, and the characters weren't believable and were very stereotyped. I had hopes that I could get over the writing and be able to read the story - the story had quite the appeal and I wished it had been executed better.
