Thank you SOURCEBOOKS Fire, Megan Lally, and NetGalley for the copy of No Place Left to Hide.
This was my first book by Megan Lally and I was instantly hooked and couldn’t put it down! I had one opinion of the characters in the beginning and it totally changed by the end. Well done!!

3.5/5
There was a lot I liked about this one, it was fast paced and exciting and the tension kept mounting throughout the book. It’s also fairly short so between that and the pacing I flew through this. It flips between past and present with short chapters that kept me turning the pages and I was always desperate to get back to whatever timeline I wasn’t currently reading because most ended on a mini cliffhanger. It was also a bit outlandish and ridiculous with truly unlikable characters but I don’t always mind reading about awful people. If you don’t mind some silly plot points and terrible characters but do enjoy heart pounding and intense action try this.

Brooke's life appears to be picture perfect, she just got into Yale and all of her hard work is coming to fruition. She is not going to let the incident that happened ruin it all. But someone seems to not want to let Brooke forget what happened.
Brooke and her BFF head to a party but once they leave all bets are off, some crazy person starts tailgating Brooke and all they want is the truth. A girl tragically died at a party Brooke through before the start of senior year. You slowly unravel what really occurred at that party as the chapters flash between then and current. I loved the way this story was told and was on the edge of my seat while reading the entire time. If you are looking for a YA Thriller, you need to pick this book up!

Huge thank you to Sourcebooks for the ARC!
Wow, this is the kind of young adult thriller that would have gotten me to open a book as a teenager!
If you like the drama of Pretty Little Liars, you will eat this one up!
It starts off following a high-school senior on a normal day of school while she waits for her college acceptance letter. Suddenly, things take a turn and get intense quickly! Car chases, back-stabbing friends, family drama, what more could you want in a YA thriller 😂
This book is one you can fly through in one sitting!
I read this with my bookclub of 24 and we all had a blast reading!
If you haven't read Megan's debut, THAT'S NOT MY NAME, make sure you read that one too!

This book is fast-paced, easy to read, and less than 300 pages long. I began reading it as a refreshing break from my fantasy series, and it was exactly what I needed.
I found the beginning of the story to be quite slow, but it definitely picked up its pace towards the end, which is typical of thrillers. The chapters are quick and fast, with plot twists and a young adult setting. I found some of the writing a bit choppy, but for a quick and fast-paced thriller, it was still good.
Thank you Netgalley for this eARC.

Megan Lally delivers a gripping thriller with No Place Left to Hide. This twisty story is packed with high school drama, mean girl antics, and a relentless stalker determined to expose the truth. It definitely gave me "Pretty Little Liars" vibes.
While a few plot holes left me scratching my head, it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for a fast-paced read full of secrets, lies, and a deranged stalker... definitely check this out!

I enjoy a good thriller, and this young adult novel delivers. The book maintained a fast pace that kept me glued to the pages. I was fully invested, weighing the different narratives and trying to figure out what to believe. I don't want to spoil anything, but I was pleased with how the story concluded. A big thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Fire for providing this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley for an arc of No Place Left To Hide. I enjoyed this new thriller by Megan Lally a little too much. I could not put it down. Brooke is a person who is all about image and everything being perfect from everything from school to her everyday life. When she is out with her friends at a bonfire and gets followed by a random truck, will she survive? This had me crazy, the twists and turns were really great, I didn't want this book to end. It was very fast paced. I gave this 5 stars. I can't wait to have a physical copy of this one.

Megan Lally has done it again! I absolutely devoured this book.
I loved the before/now timelines and while I predicted one of the twists, it definitely didn’t end like I was expecting.
Thank you NetGalley for the copy!

In this sophomore title from Megan Lally, we are following Brooke during a particularly terrifying night in her senior year.
After "the incident" in September, all Brooke has wanted is to lay low, get into Yale and leave her hometown and the drama that came with it behind.
Unfortunately for her, Unknown Caller has a different plan for her.
What I enjoyed about this book - it moves really fast, the stakes are well established, the characters felt believable for the universe they were in. I liked that no one was super likeable i think it made everything more realistic (despite the slightly absurd plot). Their motivations felt in line with what i knew of each characters.
what I didn't like - there didnt seem to be a strong twist - but its written as if the reveal should have been surprising. I concede this is written for high school age kids and I am an adult who reads a lot of thrillers but this reveal seemed too obvious. I knew way too early on who had to be involved because there was almost no other options.
I think High School me would have loved it, which is why i gave it 4 instead of 3. But after how intense Lally's debut was, I had higher hopes for this title and it was just lacking a bit by comparison.
If you are not a seasoned thriller reader, and/or if you are in high school I think this is a fantastic story - but her first book was just slightly better

Okay, yes, it’s official — I am now a Megan Lally fan!! I absolutely loved her previous book 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙈𝙮 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚 and this one was just as good..
I enjoyed the dual timelines, now and before.. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time, and that twist was completely shocking..
Thank you NetGalley for the advanced reader’s copy!

Thanks to Net Galley for early access! This fast paced thriller never has a dull moment! It kept me guessing and was a great book that I will definitely recommend!

No Place Left to Hide :
>has a Mean Girls vibe
>is intense
>is fast-paced
>has vigilantes
>has abuse of power
I was on the edge of my seat, throughout almost the entire book. Lally did a great job creating tension in a short time.
I didn’t find the characters all that likable and some were downright easy to hate. They fit the story well though.
I think if you enjoyed That’s Not My Name, you’ll be able to enjoy this one. The intensity is high but for me, TNMN remains the fave between the two.

What a fast- paced, bingeable story! I was immediately hooked and did not want to stop reading. I loved the alternating timelines of the story and how the secrets slowly unraveled. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed Megan Lally's first novel, That;s Not My Name, and was excited to read another novel by her. I don't often read YA thrillers but this kept my attention.
None f the characters were likeable in this book, but I like that in books. Teen drama made this book even better. I did not predict any of the twists in this book and was constantly rooting for different characters. The car chase felt a little long and some stupid moves on all sides were made. So suspending your belief and going for the ride makes this book enjoyable. I lived in a Oregon for a few years so I loved the setting and the their descriptions. Not getting signal in the woods is something that happened to me for miles so the main character being scared was something I understood.
I would highly recommend this book and I would continue to read from this author as she at the top of her game for YA thrillers.

I wanted to love this YA thriller, but by the end, I just liked it. Great premise- Brooke, spoiled, entitled ,rich high school senior and all the ‘friends’ that go with her, Waldorf, an exclusive high school, lake front vacation homes and parents who only care about their image. Put this all together and you get a pretty good thriller, but by the middle, it was so predictable.
This story is told in two timelines, today and a few months earlier when it all started when Brooke hosts an end of summer party at her family’s lake front home and tragedy strikes, ending in the death of another student. Brooke’s father is in line for a judgeship in their town, and he will do anything to protect his family’s image, at any cost. Today, Brooke is attending a party at another lake home, to celebrate her getting into Yale, and this is where the trouble starts.
Maybe I’ve just read so many thrillers that I was able to figure this out, but for a new YA reader of this genre, it can be a great read. The story was a quick read, full of action and twists and turns (literally, towards the end!).
3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4
Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Fire for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This thriller was fast paced and you didn’t want to put it down before you figured out what was going on BUT the characters were all difficult to like.
The story line had a lot of holes in it. Things didn’t always make sense.
Brooke comes from a high society family in a smaller town. She doesn’t go out since something happened a year ago. What happened and who did it is the basis of this book. I really liked how the author laid out everything for us as BEFORE and NOW. I would have rated it higher but I didn’t feel any connection with the characters and didn’t love the ending.
Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks for this ARC. I am definitely wanting to check out other books by this author. I really enjoyed the writing style.

Another outstanding book by Megan Lally. This was so hard to put down. I will be recommending to customers.
Many thanks for my gifted copy.

What a group of unlikeable characters! The plot was a bit out of range of realistic but over all it was a good read nothing fantastic or twist and turning like I like but still worth a shot. I personally feel the ending is what kept me going and even enjoying this in the end

Yet another page turner that I couldn’t put down from Megan Lally! Her debut, That’s Not My Name, set high standards for me, and this book did not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat for three quarters of the book. The characters were really easy to get connected to (even if they are slightly dislikable snobs), the setting was unique, and the suspense was killer. The only reason this did not get 5 stars was because there were some plot points that felt a little *too* unbelievable to me.
This book definitely has left me with conflicting emotions about the ending and the characters involved. Very easy to get through and I would recommend this read to anyone who enjoys a fast paced thriller!
