A cute, cozy fantasy romance. Saphira just started her own cafe and is slowly figuring out a work-life balance. Aiden is from a very respectful Drakkon family and hires Saphira to train his dragon. Leading to a light hearted romance between the two.

This is a sweet, cosy fantasy read. If you want to read and fantasy but want something lighthearted, you’ll enjoy this one.

This book had such lovely potential! Cosy setting with cute dragons.. but the storyline/lack of plot let it down.
Skimmed the last half and really didn’t miss much!

The formatting of this book put me off reading it as I use the text-to-speech tool and it wasn't possible on this ARC.
The premise sounded cute but the writing style from what I had tried to read made me unfocused.

Mention dragons, and it's instantly added to my TBR!
The Baby Dragon Café by A.T. Qureshi was a delight to read. 🐉💛 This cosy fantasy follows Saphira, a determined café owner whose business isn’t just serving tea and cakes—it’s also a sanctuary for baby dragons and their human companions. But looking after these mischievous little fire-breathers isn’t easy, especially when they have a habit of setting things alight!
The book is brimming with warmth and charm. Saphira’s relationship with Aiden, the grumpy-yet-endearing newcomer, adds a lovely romance subplot that had me smiling. Their grumpy-sunshine dynamic is a favourite trope of mine.
While the stakes are low and the plot leans towards the comforting side, that’s exactly what makes this such a delightful read—it’s a perfect escape into a world of cosy magic, found family, and, of course, adorable dragons. If you’re looking for a book that feels like a warm hug (with a few scorch marks along the way), this is it!

If you're looking for a cute cosy fantasy book then this is perfect! I absolutely loved it and will definitely purchase the next books in the future, it had me wanting a baby dragon all of my own! Absolutely loved the characters amd the writing made it easy to get lost inside the book as if you were in the cafe itself.

Sweet, cute, lighthearted, and just charming. This was a fun book to just curl up during cold weather and read.

This story had all the elements for a cozy read, fun premise, cute dragon and cafe and two adults brought together by said baby dragon who had instant attraction to each other. I loved all that the story had going for it and the actual story line, however, the writing was very basic and felt YA in how the characters interacted, more like a highschool setting than adulthood. I want to read book two to see if the writing improved as I did enjoy the actual story.

What do you do when you love baby dragons, but can't own one? Provide a service to those who can!
While the premise of the book is cute, there was only so much I could read about the baby dragons destroying the cafe. I had a hard time empathizing with the FMC and was unable to finish the book because of it.

What a fun and cozy book!
I really enjoyed this. I went in totally blind for this one and really enjoyed the ride.

This was such a cosy comfort read and I adored every minute. The story moves at a comfortable pace, keeping your interest. I loved the main characters and would happily read more from them

I loved The Baby Dragon Cafe. It was the perfect cosy romantasy and I really liked how different all the characters were. I'm definitely going to be reading the next installment!

Qureshi's writing is engaging and immersive, with vivid descriptions of the cafe and its inhabitants. The characters are well-developed and relatable, with each one bringing their own unique story and struggles to the table. The author's use of magical realism adds a delightful touch to the narrative, making the ordinary seem extraordinary.

This is definitely a cute romance with fantasy aspects to it, but unfortunately it wasn't quite for me. While I loved the dragons, I thought the writing itself was a bit juvenile and didn't mesh well with me. However, I definitely think cozy book lovers will really enjoy this novel. I see a lot of potential in it!

This was adorable. A gorgeous introduction to fantasy, for those who are yet to dabble in the genre. A great rom com which also successfully highlights a few important topics on judgement, family loss and self-worth.

This was a fun little romance, though I wasn’t expecting it to be set in the real world. (Not a bad thing, just not what I expected) The world building wasn’t intrusive, just enough to flesh out the fantastical elements.
My only issue was that the characters actions ranged from grown adult to young teen. It was kind of jarring and kept pulling me out of the story. Otherwise, it was a cute fun book.

Saphira opens a new cafe that welcomes baby dragons...BUT baby dragons are notorious for lighting things on fire, including furniture in her cafe. Sadly, this means that selling coffee is not covering the cost to replace her furniture. She can't stay mad at the baby dragons for long though! Aidan is a gardener who is the owner of a disobedient dragon, Sparky. He notices that Saphira is great with baby dragons and strikes a deal with her - he'll ask Saphira to train his dragon and he'll pay her enough to keep her cafe afloat!
Overall, I thought this book was cute and cozy. The writing was catered toward adult audiences, but I would honestly place this in young adult. It had low spice along with a few other fun tropes - grumpy x sunshine, fake marriage, and small town romance. I am looking forward to reading the next books in this series because they are just too adorable!
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for the opportunity to read an Advanced Reader's Copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

Extremely cute cozy fantasy book but unfortunately its nothing incredible.
I received a copy through Netgalley, courtesy of the publishers, for which my thanks. The above is my own opinion.

A cozy magical story with sweet moments throughout the book. The pacing was slower and I couldn't fully engage with the storyline, but it was still charming. I loved the idea of the story, but the way it was executed just did not work.

I will admit, I totally wanted this because of the title and cover. Sometimes it’s okay to judge a book by its cover when it’s this cute!
This was fun, light-hearted and what I expected going in. My expectations weren’t too high; I know some people were expecting more fantasy, but I was happy with a light romance that it really was.
Unfortunately it didn’t stand out from the crowd, which is a shame when it’s marketed with the dragons. It lacked spice, and didn’t have enough humour or even fantasy to back it up. After reading some great romantasies recently, like Assistant To The Villain, I know there is a sweet spot with fantasy and romance!
Nevertheless, if you want a book that you can literally switch off and enjoy, this is worth a read.
