*Unhooked* is a book that truly left a mark on me. As someone who doesn’t usually read nonfiction, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this book completely drew me in and exceeded all my expectations. With a family member deeply affected by addiction, I picked it up hoping to gain some insight and understanding... and I walked away with so much more.

Adi Jaffe has an incredible way of writing that makes you feel like you’re having a personal conversation with him. It’s honest, raw, and incredibly relatable. I found myself captivated by his storytelling, which was both deeply personal and wholly relevant. His openness and vulnerability helped me see addiction from a perspective I hadn’t fully grasped before.

The book is packed with valuable insights and practical advice, and for the first time ever, I used the highlight feature on my Kindle to save passages that really resonated with me. There were so many “aha” moments-tidbits of wisdom that I know I’ll carry with me as I continue to support my loved one.

I can’t recommend *Unhooked* enough to anyone affected by addiction, whether directly or indirectly. It’s a powerful, eye-opening read that offers understanding, hope, and practical steps toward healing. Adi Jaffe’s work is nothing short of transformative, and I’m so grateful I gave this book a chance.

A good book to read even for someone without any "traditional" addictions, but simply as a way for understanding all the various things that hook us and compel us. And of course how to be free from the grip of those things.
