This was a good novella. It wasn't outstanding but it wasn't bad either. At first, I was a huge fan of the second chance trope + the amazing chemistry that was going on between the main characters. However, it grew old pretty quick. I'm cool with them dying to have sex with one another. But I cross the line, at almost melting when their fingers brush by accident.
Plus, I wasn't a fan of Levi's huge stupid act in the middle of the story. Huge no for me. He may be sore about what happened in the past. But for me, what he did is not something grown-ups do.
I think I would've enjoyed this story if it had been a "whole book" (and minus Levi's stupidity).

I enjoyed this story of two former high school sweethearts who connect again when both return to their hometown in Montana. Selah was a great character, and I wanted a great future for her. I had a more difficult time connecting with Levi, as he came across to me often as a real jerk. For instance, he broke up with Selah in high school when she wasn't ready to have sex with him. Once they meet again, Levi leads her on in a huge way and then leaves her wanting him. He later tells her he was getting back at her for not putting out in high school. I didn't think that those instances showed him to be a man who respected woman, and I didn't think he was good enough for Selah. Aside from that, I enjoyed the story.
