I want to check in at Sunshine Inn and visit Coral Cove! I love books set in beach towns, they are so relaxing to me.

This book was filled with all of the things that I enjoy--romance, drama, family relationships, etc.

Alana reminded me of my grandma. Alana loved those around her deeply and was such an encouragement to those that were in her life.

I loved the juxtaposition between Cade and Everleigh. He was kind of grumpy and rough around the edges and she was filled with sunshine. Yet he was filled with so much compassion for others.

The family relationships added a little bit of drama to the story and made me yearn for restoration.

Another great story by this author!

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

this is a contemporary romance with the enemies to lovers trope. And this will be a happily ever after--everything comes together and everyone is smiling at the end book. So if you'd rather one that is more...realistic, this won't be it. but if you just need a feel good story, this is your jam.

Although it's part of the Christian fiction genre, it's there because of the author and because it's just a clean story. There isn't any scripture or God other than mentioning going to church. So don't expect any faith aspects.

This is an opposites-attract trope too.

the story was sweet, though you wanted to smack the lead female a few times for her naivety and cluelessness.

I'm just going to give it 3 stars because it's predictable and didn't have the character buildup I like, nor did it have the faith elements I need in Christian fiction.

*Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for my ARC of this book. All opinions are 100% my own.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Cade and Everleigh were thrown together after both inheriting a B&B but their hearts were not on the same page. Everleigh had her own idea of what she wanted to do with the Inn and Cade wanted the total opposite.

This books delves into grief and moving on from grief. Everleigh really wanted to honor her Godmothers wishes but sometimes time and a heart change can make the most stubborn hearts turn to sunshine.

SECOND CHANCE AT SUNSHINE INN by AMY CLIPSTON is a most enjoyable romance novel with interesting characters. It is a story about second chances, relationships, forgiveness and family dynamics, set in Coral Cove where Everleigh Hartne,t, who is devastated at the death of her beloved godmother and aunt, Alana, is horrified to find that she has to share Sunshine Inn with Cade Witherspoon, who has been running the place with Alana and who also looked after her when she was ill. They start off on the wrong foot with Everleigh wanting to sell and use her share of the money to run a non-profit to help parents with medical care for their very sick babies, .feeling Alana wanted her to do this.. Cade,, on the other hand,, who has been badly hurt, does not want to sell or move from Sunshine Inn…………..
Cade and Everleigh are complete opposites, with Everleigh’s sunny and trusting nature, and Cade being bitter and grumpy. Will their shaky start turn into friendship and maybe something more, or are they both too busy guarding their hearts?………
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

Just finished this sweet love story and this book is properly named!
It’s a sweet love story that I enjoyed very much and hated to see it end.
It’s also about 2nd chances (of course) and forgiveness which to me is the hardest and best part.
This beautiful story is full of love and family which is my absolute favorite in a book. Secrets that keep you turning the pages to see what happens will keep you rooting for the characters in their journey of life.
It will make you cry and laugh like it did me.
I love that Clipston can make her readers feel her character’s emotions and make friends with them.
Cade’s mom really made made mad but yet tore my heart out at the same time. That was terrible what her parents made her do! Wow! Not a great decision at all!
This is wonderful story and will be my favorite by her.
“An angel always finds its way to you, even in your darkest moments.”
Yes they do! Never forget that And God is always with us as well.
5 stars for a wonderful read. I highly recommend!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine
