Why is it that when Catherine Bybee writes a series I inhale it but then when I know its the end of the series I have to slow crawl read it? I will say this series this is the first one I bought the audio for. I have no regrets on this. Alex was that strong heroine you want in a story and Hawk was this love struck fool with her best interest at heart. The battle between Alex and Hawk was fun because they were both too strong and stubborn to accept that each person was there for eachother. These two had sparks that made even the kiss launch fireworks. I wouldnt want to be snowed in without him for sure.. even though the both had some serious fumbling moments I am glad love prevailed.

No More Yesterdays by Catherine Bybee
The Heirs #3

~ Excellent conclusion to this trilogy ~ Stayed up till one this morning and decided I really needed to sleep though I also really wanted to finish the book ~

What I liked:
* Alexandrea “Alex” Stone: CEO and co-owner of hotel empire, workaholic, focused, bright, dedicated, good friend, loves her family, is the focus of a murderer, attracted to Hawk
* Hawk Bronson: ex-government employee, security expert, bodyguard, has PTSD, best friend is his brother who sounds intriguing, protective, alert, strong, lethal, Viking-like, attracted to Alexandrea
* Nick: Alex’s best friend and there for her…always – wouldn’t mind seeing him in a book of his own
* Catching up with the Stone family members: Chase, Piper and their baby Hailey, Max & Sarah, and Vivian and Gaylord
* The plot, pacing, setting, and writing
* The twists and turns and surprises as the story unfolded as to why Alex was the target of more than one criminal action PLUS what the Stone family found out about the deceased patriarch of the Stone family and founder of Stone Enterprise(s).
* That Alex and Hawk were perfect for and with one another
* Thinking about the wonderful lives the Stone family members have to look forward to
* Thinking about some of the supporting characters that might make fascinating main characters in books of their own…Ed and the security company Hawk worked for, Nick, Hawk’s brother, and perhaps others
* All of it really except…

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant to dislike
* Aaron Stone: lousy father of the heirs, philandering husband, idolized money, hedonist, horrible person
* The characters that were evil ~ glad they were caught
* Having to say goodbye to the people I grew to care about.

Did I like this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Yes

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for the ARC – This is my honest review.

3⭐️ 1.5🌶️
I enjoyed this story and I am proud of myself for figuring out the plot twist even though I didn’t get it fully.
This is a great book if you need a pallet cleanser in between some heavier reads. I loved the reverse billionaire romance where she had the money and power and he is her bodyguard.
I loved the family dynamic. They are all so close and take care of each other even thought their horrible father is what brought them together.
It’s not needed to read the first two books in the series but I would recommend it. It makes the reading experience better.

No More Yesterdays is a fast-paced romance with just the right mix of suspense and danger to keep things interesting. I didn’t read the earlier books in the series, and while that left me a little lost in a few spots, it didn’t stop me from staying fully invested. It’s got plenty of action, a solid romance, and enough tension to keep you turning the pages. I’m definitely planning to pick up more from this author.

No More Yesterdays is the thrilling conclusion to The Heiress series. It’s packed with danger and threatening characters who put Alexandrea Stone’s life—and the happiness of her entire family—at risk. Just when the siblings think they’ve uncovered all there is to know about their estranged (and very much dead) father, new revelations surface that jeopardize both their personal and professional lives.

This book will keep you on edge from beginning to end. I personally enjoyed every single installment in the series, but this finale was especially gripping. A strong, satisfying ending to an emotional and suspenseful family saga.

No More Yesterdays is book 3 in The Heirs series by Catherine Bybee. I read this as a standalone so don't let it being book 3 in a series make you not read it. I really enjoyed No More Yesterdays and found Alex Stone to be a strong, smart woman to root for. Alex is now the CEO of Stone Enterprises, a hotel empire, since her father died. Her 2 brothers work with her to make Stone Enterprises the successful company that they want it to be. When threats are made they have to up their security, including a body guard for Alex. Alex is one of the only women in such a powerful position and many men are threatened by her. Hawk Bronson helps Alex at a dinner party one evening and seems like the perfect fit. He's in the security field and has a lot of past experience protecting people.

As the danger gets too close for comfort, Hawk and Alex, are drawn to one another. Their relationship grows and they find themselves very attracted to one another. Hawk doesn't trust anyone else to keep Alex safe, even though he has an entire team. As the mystery about her family grows, secrets are brought to light, and Alex must face them head on. She comes up against some dangerous men, but has Hawk by her side. They make a great team and I couldn't get enough of them! Will Hawk and Alex be able to find out who the threats are from before it's too late? Will Hawk and Alex have a future beyond this job? I absolutely loved No More Yesterdays and look forward to reading more from Catherine Bybee. The book is out now and if a suspenseful romance is something you enjoy, get this book! I'd like to thank NetGalley and Montlake for an advanced copy of No More Yesterdays in exchange for a fair review. #NoMoreYesterdays

This book was intense and long, but decent. Alex is kickass, smart and upto her neck manging a company she does not necessarily want to. Hawk was the usual bodyguard type, protective and hard-core.

The romance and mystery was okay, I felt it lacked just a little bit ofvtye excitement that would have made this book good.

I have to admit that I love bodyguard romances and I was also waiting anxiously for Alex Stone's romance. It was worth the wait. I loved Hawk for her- tough but also, respectful of her. I love that he was written as someone who was not intimidated by how strong and smart she was, and provided his own skills to the relationship. A relationship of mutual respect and love, with a good amount of steam, I enjoyed this next book in the Heirs series. Thanks to the publisher, author and NetGalley for an early read and sorry that life got in the way from me being timely!

The third book in the series. This one is about the sister Alex and how she always feels she needs to be strong. Here, there is someone after her, and so a bodyguard is hired for her, though she does not want one. I felt conflicted with this book in that she is strong, but at times it almost came across as if the author had her as weak, and that Hawk was too controlling, along with her brothers, who, in the other books, let her handle the business of the company. For me, that was my biggest issue with this book, though I did like the characters and the overall story.

This series was amazing.i loved all the characters and each story picks up and adds to the story before. I want more of the Stone family! Alex and hawks story was close to perfection. A little suspense and romance this checks all the boxes!

Catherine’s books are always comforting. I started reading her books many years ago, randomly, and keep coming back to them.

I was looking forward to this book because Alex’s personality in the other books from the series didn’t really give away much about how she would be as a romance novel FMC. This book really showed both her vulnerability and her strength.

I always try to solve the twists in Catherine’s books and am halfway successful. I figured out one of the twists early on but didn’t solve the entirety of it. Always along for the ride, however.

Author Catherine Bybee concludes The Heirs series with her latest, No More Yesterdays. Saving her best for last, it’s filled with explosive chemistry, dangerous suspense, and characters that will be unforgettable.

Front and center is Alex Stone. Everything we love about her was highlighted and how bright she shined. Intelligent, independent and strong, you can’t help but root for this fierce heroine from the first page. As you know, this powerhouse CEO was thrown into it all after inheriting her late father’s empire. She is faced with secrets, danger and an unexpected twist in her life that no one expected to come.

Enter Hawk Bronson, the bodyguard whose job is to protect Alex but whose heart soon finds itself on the line. Their energy sizzles with tension, fun banter, and deep emotional resonance, making every interaction charged.

This book was very different from the first two. What really sets this book apart is the seamless blend of suspense with heartfelt romance. You feel every threat, deep dark hidden secrets and the emotional ride is just as exciting as the physical danger described. There is an exciting bolt of adrenaline that runs through this book with its pulsing twists and moments of vulnerability and ease of past wounds that make you want to keep reading.

No More Yesterdays was a fast-paced, emotionally charged romantic suspense that was impossible to put down. Each book in the series brought their own flare that was fitting for their collective journeys to unfold. If you have been following the series and haven’t read this one yet, you’re in for a good read. If you’re new to the series and love good characters especially strong heroines, steamy slow burn romance or just a fan of romance suspense then I would recommend checking this one out.

✨ ARC Review ✨
No More Yesterdays by Catherine Bybee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Thank you to NetGalley and Catherine Bybee for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This is book 3 in the Heirs series and it beautifully ties up all the loose ends from the first two books. If you love a forced proximity, billionaire + bodyguard romance with meddling brothers and a bit of suspense — this one’s for you!

Hawk and Alex’s chemistry was great, and the constant matchmaking attempts by Max and Chase had me grinning. Alex’s best friend Nick was an absolute scene-stealer — hilarious and heartwarming.

While I had my suspicions about the puppet master behind the drama, the why and who else kept me guessing right up to the end. And I loved Hawk teasing Alex about her complete lack of situational awareness — especially the moment she casually drops a pregnancy scare bomb while he’s driving. 😂

If you haven’t read the Heirs series yet, I definitely recommend starting from the beginning. Looking forward to reading more from Catherine Bybee!

I just finished No More Yesterdays and wow—I’m kicking myself for not discovering Catherine Bybee sooner! I fell hard for Alex. She’s a total powerhouse CEO, but still completely relatable. And don’t even get me started on Hawk. That brooding-protector energy? Yeah, I was so here for it.

Their connection felt so real, and watching them dance around each other while navigating all the suspense kept me up way too late with the classic “just one more chapter” lie.

The way Bybee wove the romance and nail-biting twists together was *chef’s kiss*. And the found family angle? Straight to the feels. It struck the perfect balance... it's steamy enough to make me fan myself, but with real depth and just the right amount of mystery.

BRB, downloading the first two books in The Heirs series because apparently I hate sleep and good life choices. 😅

Story: 4.5⭐

An amazing ending to the series of The Heirs, we finally get the story of Alex, the only female in the siblings. When Alex's life is in danger, her family hires her a personal body guard, Hawk. Hawk is everything you can dream about, but he has his own baggage to deal with. They dig up many more secrets of Alex's deceased dad. The chemistry is hot between them. This book kept me turning the pages late into the night. I recommend to read the series in order.

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, I was looking forward to getting to Alex's book. And once again, Catherine Bybee did not disappoint. As the last single Stone sibling, Alex has a lot to prove especially in the business world. Even though her brothers know she is the most qualified to run the business, there are plenty that think she has no place in charge. Good thing she has a new ally to keep her safe and who just might be more than a bodyguard. Enjoyable romance with a side of suspense. I'm never disappointed when I pick up one of Bybee's books.

No More Yesterdays is the third book in Catherine Bybee's "The Heirs" trilogy. And what a continuation of the story it was!
This is Alex's story. Alex and her two brothers inherited their estranged father's billion dollar company. She is a workaholic and doesn't have the time for a relationship. That is until their company is threatened, her life put in danger and they hire a security/protection company.
Alex is fiercely independent and Hawk is assigned to protect her day and night. Their instant chemistry and where it takes the story makes this third book in the trilogy Unputdownable.
Catherine Bybee is a great storyteller and gives us a captivating read!

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for an arc of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Really good!

This book was another winner in The Heirs series by Catherine Bybee. This book, likely the last in this series, delves into Alex's life but also provides more insight into her family and mostly her brothers. While Alex has assumed quite a bit of company management after their father died, she has also put her personal life on hold.

When the company and Alex herself are threatened, private security is hired, and Hawk comes into her life. He's got some shadows in his past but the two of them are drawn to each other. I enjoyed watching their story unfold, and the way he treated her as an equal. Also wonderful was her family and their unwavering support and love for each other.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

This is the final book of the three siblings and maybe my favorite. Alex needs protection and Hawk is the perfect choice. This book had a little of everything, suspense, intrigue, romance, family drama, and a lot of love. I enjoyed this book and the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series. I was gifted an arc from Net Galley but this is my honest review. Read this series, you won’t be disappointed.

Yas, Queen Bybee! This is the Stone sibling story I have been waiting for.

And it did not disappoint.

Alex has given up on love, finally settled in to her job as CEO of her father's business (he was a real piece of work, right?), but has given up on love

I was curious as to who she would end up with, and when we meet Hawk, I was hooked. Hooked on Hawk.

He was so perfect for her, I couldn't help but fall for him along with Alex.

So much was going on with this installment, and Bybee has done the series justice wih this final installment. Everything was tied up, but it wasn't an easy road to get there.

I wouldn't mind a short somewhere in the future, letting us know what they are all up to.

Looking forward to what Ms Bybee brings us next.
