Two women find their way to each other, after a DNA test shows an amazing amount of markers. The story kept me reading, with the things happening, that makes them change, the things they discover about themselves, and the life they now share. They have secrets that must be unraveled, and find who they are now, because of the things they weren't told. There are strong connections that spice it up, and the locations we are taken to is breathtaking. Who they became, tells so much about them.
I received an ARC from Canary Street Press through NetGalley.

A moving women's fiction story about half-siblings discovering one another later in life, chronic illnesses, second chance romance and more. I always enjoy RaeAnne Thayne's novels, she manages to write about emotional family situations, tackle important disability conditions all in a heartfelt way. Good on audio and perfect for fans of authors like Debbie Macomber or Sarah Morgan. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!

This book was wonderful! From a deceased famous author whose daughter finds out after his death that she has a half sister, to a life saving procedure to dealing with new relatives for a very alone woman who finds out she isn't alone anymore. June was a very serious executive that worked hard and had few friends. When she collapsed and died, a younger woman saves her and their journey begins. She meets a man that she doesn't like at first and then gets to know him in a different light. Ali is the young woman who saves her and has trouble finding the right time to tell her they are related. She also as a best friend that she is beginning to see in a new light but is afraid of spoiling their relationship.
The book is very special and I highly recommend it. I barely put it down once I started it.
I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

The Lost Book of First Loves by RaeAnne Thayne. Longtime friendship to boyfriend, secrets to found sister and a manuscript. I love how it goes back in forth so you know what each was thinking. Great beach read… enjoy! Thank you to #NetGalley and #Harlequin Trade Publishing for this Arc read. This is my honest review.

Loved it. Wonderful variety of characters, back stories, and plot lines. Some of it may seem predictable, but isn't a happily ever after for all involved what one wants anyway. Terrific location and description of the area. It may have helped that I have visited Jackson Hole, etc. RaeAnne Thayne has become one of my favorite authors. I know I may shed a tear or two, smile a little, and thoroughly enjoy the tale. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

I really enjoyed reading The Lost Book of First Loves by RaeAnne Thayne!
Ali Wells is the daughter of iconic author Carson Wells. After her father passes away, Ali gets the results of a DNA test that shows she has a half sister she never knew about. When the book opens, Ali was working as a corporate intern for her half sister June, who has no idea about their family connection. June suffers an unexpected cardiac arrest and Ali saves her life. Ali invites June to her family land in Wyoming to recover, which is where most of the story takes place.
I loved the themes of family, friendship, romance, and determining what really matters in life. Highly recommend!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.

I read through half of the book, and it didn't hold my interest. So I couldn't finish the book . However, The book has good storyline. The characters were developed well in the book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I look forward to every book RaeAnne Thayne releases and this book was a fabulous five star story. The interchanges between the characters are very real and the family relationships are so enjoyable. All of the characters in this book are likeable and you find yourself cheering for them to do well. The setting in Wyoming is described so well, you just want to hop on a plane and go out to stay at a ranch. If you are looking for an emotional, family oriented read then this is the book you should pick up, you won't be disappointed.

Loved this author and could not wait to read this story. Soo much adventure throughout the book which makes me love it more. Romance story with more. Two women who find out they are sisters and the beloved father’s journals and stories bring them all together. Two love stories in the mix. Loved it. Adding to my list of books I want to buy for my collection.

The Lost Book of First Loves was such an unexpected and emotional read, and Thayne has definitely found a new return reader in me. I loved this so much!

Thank you NetGalley for this heartfelt ARC for my review. I absolutely love RaeAnne Thaynes books and this one is another love for me. This book touches so many feelings in me. There is a Precious lone sister who finds out she has a sibling through DNA testing after the loss of her father who was a famous author. She ends up saving the life of her sister with CPR before their relationship is even revealed. It’s crazy….. she saves her but couldn’t save her Dad as she didn’t know how at the time of his incident. Both Sisters are at such a turning point in their lives Will they both find happily ever after? They could if only they would let their hearts feel. This story……..This book…..Reeled me in and touched my heart in so many ways from the very beginning and you will too. It has it all. So get ready to be wowed! I highly recommend this heartfelt story.

Thanks to NetGalley for the eARC of this book!
A wonderful story about found family, friendships, and lost love. So much to enjoy in this book. Memorable characters and storyline. This will stick with you for a long time.

Thayne has a way of writing that makes the reader feel what the characters feel. In “The Lost Book of First Loves,” she has expertly made the setting, a ranch in the mountains of Wyoming, as much a character as the people.
After losing her father, Ali sets out to form a relationship with the half sister she has just learned about. After saving June’s life, Ali invites her to come home to Wyoming to rest, still unaware they are related. As both women heal, mentally and physically, they begin to form a bond.
This book is as much about a relationship among women as it is a romance, possibly more so. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed The Lost Book of First Loves. RaeAnne Thayne is one of my favorite authors, so I couldn't wait to read her latest. It is the story of Alison Wells and Juniper Connolly, two women who have a link that Juniper doesn't know about. After completing law school, Ali takes a job as a marketing intern in Juniper's company, to have an excuse to meet her. The book opens with Juniper on the verge of firing Ali, because she just isn't able to keep up with the job. Intending to give Ali the bad news, Juniper suffers a cardiac event, and Ali revives her while waiting for paramedics. Ali's father had recently passed away from a heart attack, so she took a CPR course to help someone else from suffering the same fate. After Alison's famous novelist father passes away, she does a DNA test, and discovers that Juniper may be her half sister. Alison invites Juniper to recover at her late father's ranch in Wyoming so she can get to know her and work up the nerve to tell her that they are probably sisters. Both women are at a bit of a turning point in their lives, Juniper because of her health, and Alison because she has to decide if the legal profession is really what she wants to do for her career.
I was hooked immediately and wanted to find out how these two women deal with the news of their relationship to each, to their famous father, and to the irresistible men in the small Wyoming town where Alison grew up. RaeAnne Thayne writes great stories of relationships that are a joy to read. I highly recommend! Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing/Canary Street Press for an advance reader's ebook to review.

4.5 ⭐️
First of all, many thanks to the author, RaeAnne Thayne, Harlequin Trade Publishing, and NetGalley for the ARC!
The Lost Book of First Loves is a beautifully written, emotional, and heartwarming story that gently hooked me from the very beginning. It follows a successful female tech executive who, after suffering a cardiac event, retreats to Wyoming for recovery. She’s accompanied by her nearly-fired intern, only to later discover that the young woman is actually her half-sister—the daughter of a renowned author she and her late mother had always admired.
As she settles into the stunning Wyoming landscape, she crosses paths with a former prosecutor tied to a complicated/unpleasant memory from her past. Though their relationship starts off rocky, their connection slowly shifts as trust builds, old wounds heal, and romance blossoms. At the heart of their journey is the search for a lost, unpublished manuscript—one dedicated to her mother by her recently discovered father. Meanwhile, her half-sister reconnects with her childhood best friend and comes to realize her feelings run deeper than friendship.
What truly stood out to me was RaeAnne Thayne’s vivid, immersive descriptions of the Wyoming wilderness. The rugged mountains, peaceful lakes, and star-filled skies were so beautifully captured that I found myself longing to visit—wanting to hike, fish, ride horses, and simply take in the unspoiled beauty myself.
Overall, this book is a lovely, bittersweet story about family, healing, and love in all its forms. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle, emotionally rich read.

Juniper, who was head of marketing at Move Inc., was in the process of firing another intern named Allison when she passed out on the floor. Allison administered CPR, reviving Juniper. While Juniper was in the hospital, she found out she had a heart condition called CPVT, or catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.
Allison knew Juniper really didn't have anyone to help her recover, but a couple of friends asked her if she wanted to go live on the ranch with her and her grandma. Carson Wells, her father, had passed away recently; it was just her and her grandma on the big ranch, so they had plenty of space for Juniper to rest & heal.
When Juniper found out that Allison was the daughter of one of her favorite authors, Carson Wells, she was in shock. Juniper was very grateful to have the privilege of getting better while living in this author's home. The story talks about the unlikely connections these two women shared and the journey they went on together after Juniper's close encounter. Allison had done her research and knew who Juniper was, her sister who was many years older. Through a DNA test, she found out about her after her father's death. She was curious about her, so she did her research; that's why she went to go try to become her intern at Move Inc. What happens is essentially a sweet story of love & forgiveness with two sisters that are very different but now connected forever by the love of the famous author Carson Wells. If you like unlikely connections with a bit of romance tossed in, this is for you.

I am a long time reader of RaeAnne Thayne's books - going back to her Silhouette Special Edition days. I've always enjoyed what she's written but I have to say her release of The Lost Book of First Loves is her best story yet. She's knocked it out of the ballpark with this one.
The story includes a bookstore, an author, sisters discovered and love found. I had a difficult time putting the book down once I started reading it but yet I wanted to go slow to savor descriptions of the Wyoming scenery and the thoughts of the characters.
This is a perfect summer read. Bravo to Ms. Thayne for a book well written.
Five plus stars from me.
My thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to early read this book in return for an honest review.

Another winner from RaeAnne Thayne. Her latest, The Lost Book of First Loves was a five star read for me!!

Alison and Juniper meet when Alison works as Juniper's intern and ends up saving her life. Alison invites Juniper back to her family ranch in Wyoming to recover after a health emergency, and during the few weeks at the ranch, Alison and Juniper discover a family connection and both find love.
This was a cute book and easy read. I enjoyed the setting and would love to visit Wyoming one day. Having 3 character POVs was too much for me; I feel that you didn't get much character depth because it was switching around too frequently.
Thanks to Harlequin Trade Publishing | Canary Street Press and NetGalley for providing an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

RaeAnne Thayne's books always put a smile on my face. The writing is superb and the storylines never fail to make me pause, laugh, cry, and just plain enjoy all the time spent reading the book. A solid 4.5 stars for this latest edition that makes my heart happy. While I like all the storylines my favorite was Ali's and without giving anything away I will say that so many of us would like an old friend like she has - very well done and thoughtful. The medical storyline was interesting and woven into the overall plot very well - the first sentence set us up for a wild ride. Many thanks to the Author, publisher, and NetGalley for an opportunity to read an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I can't wait for the next RaeAnne Thayne book!
