This was a solid five star read. Eve & Jamie were two very well written characters, that despite their flaws were able to achieve individual character growth while becoming romantic partners. This story packed an emotional punch and throughout the instances of addressing trauma, I felt the author express those feelings perfectly through her words. The dialogue? Perfect. The pacing of the plot? Perfect. Eve's resistance to address her trauma and eventually heading to therapy? Perfect. Even the secondary characters were well placed and insightful. The overall romance felt ORGANIC and that's something this genre needs more of. Can't believe this is the author's debut novel because she wrote the hell outta this story.
