I love the retro vibe of this book that celebrates Brenda Lee’s classic song and all things Christmas. It’s filled with lots of recipes, crafts, and entertaining tips to get you in the Christmas spirit. The pictures are great but the illustrations are even better. This book is a lot of fun and has soa lot of charm.

What a fun and charming holiday book. I love the way that the chapters are styled after lines in the famous Christmas song. I really appreciate the history lesson about Brenda Lee and the inclusion of her pie recipe in the book. There are so many different fun ideas in this book. The illustrations and photographs are colourful and the vibe is delightful. I like the way that the book provides useful information and a variety of different levels of crafts, cooking, and entertaining ideas. The history of different traditions and the different ways to include them into your own celebrations make this a book that is fun for anybody who wants to add something new to their own holidays.

As you all know, Halloween is my favorite holiday, but Christmas is a fairly close second. Every year we host a party for friends and family so when I saw this title and description, I was eager to read it. The entire book is based on the song and filled with ideas for decorating, gifts and recipes for food and cocktails. A definite must for all those that love Christmas and entertaining.

Very cute and artistic book full of holiday related crafts and recipes to bring more fun to Christmas! Definitely fun read for the family and includes some ideas for trivia and games to play as well.

This was super cute! I loved that it wasn't just a recipe/cookbook and craft book, but also a history of the Christmas traditions behind them. I had no idea that Brenda Lee was only twelve years old when she originally recorded Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree!

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree got me in the Christmas spirit (even though it’s only April). This book is a mix of food and drink recipes, holiday hosting tips, crafts and more. The book was organized and easy to read and follow and the illustrations were beautiful. I am definitely going to be trying to be trying some of these ideas!

This book has everything from food, drinks and crafts as well as many pro tips that will help make your projects more successful. The illustrations are lovely and will warm you right up. The Frosted Rose and Rosemary Spritz sounds like a perfect holiday drink. It also includes a variation to make it a mocktail. Grab this book before the holidays and staring making a list of cheer you would like to spread.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is an absolutely fun and adorable book in the most nostalgic way. It's very 50s and 60s themed, from the colors to the recipes to the decor, which I wasn't alive for but was my mom's childhood. Which she then brought into mine, so this stirred up some really great memories. And sparked a ton of ideas to incorporate into my future holiday celebrations. There's beautiful photos to go along with recipes (with a focus on cocktails, desserts, and hosting in general) and DIY projects for both decor and for gifting. This will make the perfect gift during the holiday season for those who share similar nostalgia for past Christmases and want to have a vintage celebration.

‘Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree’ is the hypotime of a perfect Christmas prep book. The illustrations are bright and colourful. The language is simple. The recipes are perfect for the occasion and have been well thought out in terms of their longevity.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is a wonderful catch all book for the holiday season. I could see myself opening this book in November to start to get the ideas flowing and to really focus on what I would want to do the coming holiday season.

The fact that all the recipes have pictures is perfect for a visual person as it shows what you should aim for.

The different themes are also great as you wouldn't necessarily need to pick only one, but could take what you want from each to make it your own.

It was also wonderful that it isn't just a food book, or a craft book, but more an everything book where it gives you enough to get started to have a successful party or event, but doesn't overwhelm you to the point that you need to have every little thing done.

I really liked the Do's and Don'ts for hosting a party because even I need some reminders that you can't do it all!

A wonderful book that anyone could use to help set up their holiday schedule or to just look through for the nostalgia!
