Rules of Seduction revolves around a passionate young film writer named Danika “Dani” Young who moves to California to start her dream job. Add an unexpected twist, an old friend, cute boys, temperamental vampires and a new roommate into the mix - it’s understandable how things could get a little chaotic in the best way possible!

We’ve all thought about how wonderful it would be to land our dream job, so being able to follow Dani’s journey when it happens to her was very engaging. The romantic aspect of the novel managed to exist as one aspect of Dani’s life instead of completely overshadowing it, which was much appreciated in a new adult novel. In addition to the storyline, all of the characters were so interesting. Whether it was their passion or their charm, every character had something that made you want to know their story.

Rules of Seduction was an entertaining, hilarious read that should be a staple in everyone’s beach bag.
