This was a really beautiful graphic novel. The art style was so unique and lovely. I found the storyline really interesting, and I am definitely intrigued to continue with the series and read the next book.

This is one of those graphic novels that brings nostalgia and emotion in such a beautiful way. I cried, and I was in awe, as well. I absolutely loved the illustrations, too. The color pallet was gorgeous, and the environments were spectacular.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure if I understood everything. There's little text and nearly no explanations. You will need your time to get into it and start understand the story, the backgrounds, what's going on. But even if there's not a lot of text, there's a lot of meaning. I can recommend, but not to everybody. If your're looking for an easy comic, your should go on...

I loved reading this comic online, and I have seen the earlier (I believe self-published) edition of this book. I am thrilled that it has finally gotten the attention it deserves from a publisher! Unlike the self-published edition, this has a couple more pages of art, an author's note, a blurb on the back and, most importantly, the maps in the back have legends in English. If you have read Vattu before, even if it was in the previous print run, this is definitely work taking a look at. If you haven't read Vattu before, what are you waiting for?
