I will read anything with a vampire and I am so glad that I received a review copy of this graphic novel.

The story begins in a way that I thought it might be for 8-or 9-year old children. And then it gets a bit "darker." Definitely middle school, more toward the older students than the younger. Sensitive children/pre-teens may not enjoy this story, so I recommend a parent read beforehand.

The novel begins with Dracula returning from a long trip where he was a celebrity chef. His specialty, blood orange donuts. He shares them with his fellow vampires and the local humans. Everyone gets along great. However, while he was gone, Constantine takes over the brunch club and actively works to escalate tensions between vampires and humans.

I won't ruin the story, but it takes an interesting twist and ends on a positive note.

Dracula's Brunch Club is an entertaining graphic novel about a vampire who gets along with humans and unites vampires and humans with his famous jelly donuts at brunch. It tells of his return from a trip in which his absence has led to discord between humans and vampires and how he has to fight injustice and inequality. it's funny, witty and enjoyable.

This was a fun middle grade graphic novel that I think the target audience will drink up! The artwork is beautiful and the story is fun and easy to follow! I would definitely check out more releases from Gonsar in the future!

This was so cute! What an interesting and child friendly introduction to a not so scary monster for children. The illustrations were excellent and the plot was just silly enough to keep it fun while also having a message. A great middle grade graphic novel just in time for spooky season!

Quick and silly middle grade graphic where vampires' main source of sustenance is blood orange jelly-filled donuts. It wasn't laugh-out-loud or anything but was fun enough, and I think late elementary or early middle school would enjoy this.

This new middle grade graphic novel that I received as an advance readers copy from NetGalley is high on the humor and mystery side and low on the horror. Dracula has returned to his village after donut tour of his famous blood orange jelly donuts, but to his surprise another vampire, Constantine, has banned humans from Dracula's Brunch Club, and all his jelly and blood oranges have disappeared. Dracula and his chef have to come up with a new donut with a new ingredient but much to the humans disappointment and illness Constantine and the other vampires decide to ban Drac from the Brunch Club that he founded unless Dracula and his friends can solve the mystery. A fun read that pokes fun at various vampire tropes. Recommended for middle graders that like their monsters on the light side. End notes include recipes for Dracula's donuts.

4/5 stars

This was a fun and cute graphic novel all about Dracula and his jelly problems. He's a world renowned chef for hisbjelly doughnuts, but once he comes back from holiday he finds his jelly stores missing, a shipment of doughnuts also missing, and a rival vampire taking over his brunch club and trying to turn everyone against him - and all humans! This was a cute read, with simple and fun artwork and lost of silly puns, which are my fave :P An easy on the brain read, perfect for fall and vampire lovers of all ages

Jelly donuts, vampires, and a mysterious jelly shortage come together in this gorgeously illustrated graphic novel.

Count Dracula is famous for his blood orange jelly donuts, humans and vampires love them. When he returns from a trip and realizes all of the blood oranges AND the jelly in the town is missing, he doesn't know what to do. Constantine, a vampire that wants humans and vampires to stay separate is back, and he is trying to turn everyone against Dracula.

Can Dracula figure out how to solve the jelly donut shortage before Constantine can turn everyone against him?

A fun humorous take on vampires and donuts. (I love anything about donuts!) This book also tackles standing up for what's right, inclusivity, and standing together against those that spread hatred.

Recommend for all ages.

Deliciously quirky and unexpectedly heartwarming, Dracula’s Brunch Club serves up a fang-tastic mix of humor, mystery, and pastries with a paranormal twist. Debut authors Brian Gonsar and Keenan Gaybba put a fresh spin on vampire lore replacing bloodthirsty horror with jelly-filled hilarity and undead culinary drama.
Count Dracula, the brooding but brunch-obsessed anti-hero, isn't just a creature of the night—he’s a baker with a mission: keeping vampires energized with blood-orange-jelly donuts. But when a jelly shortage rocks Transylvania, a scheming rival named Constantine threatens Dracula’s brunch empire and the delicate truce between vampires and humans. Add in a missing townsfolk mystery, a loyal human chef named Elena, and a recipe for supernatural sabotage, and you’ve got a graphic novel that’s equal parts absurd and delightful.
Perfect for fans of Adventure Time and Hotel Transylvania, this graphic novel balances gothic charm with slapstick humor and surprising emotional beats. A clever, offbeat debut that proves sometimes, saving the world starts with brunch.

This was a cute read and reminding me of some of the comics I used to read when I was younger. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an e-arc cope in exchange for my honest review.

Though he’s a vampire, Count Dracula is known for one thing around town: his famous brunch club, featuring his famous blood-orange jelly filled donuts. However, after coming back from a trip, he’s found that all of the jelly has mysteriously disappeared and his nemesis, Constantine, has taken over his brunch club.

When humans also start disappearing, it’s up to Dracula to figure out what happened to them. And his jelly. And hopefully set his brunch club back to normal.

Thanks to Oni Press and NetGalley for an advanced copy of Dracula’s Brunch Club by Brian Gonsar to review! I was drawn in by the cover of this one, as it just looks like a delightfully good time. Plus, who wouldn’t want to read a story about a vampire who started his own brunch club?

Kids will definitely get a kick out of this story, as it reads almost like a cartoon. Dracula gets up to plenty of silly antics, especially when it comes to solving the problem of the missing jelly. The art fits the overall tone of the story perfectly, and I really can’t wait to recommend this to kids once it comes out.

There’s a lot to love about this book, and if your kid is a graphic novel fan, this should definitely be on your list when it comes out at the end of August!

An adorable book that middle grade readers will enjoy. The story has a nice mix of suspense and humor that middle grade readers will "get". I loved the blood orange jelly donuts. I can see my middle grade readers wanting to attempt making their own blood orange jelly donuts! A cute storyline with good graphics.

Oh, this was fun! There is such great humour wedged between the pages of this graphic novel. I was a huge fan of the illustration too, it was stunning!

I really loved the Chef and Dracula's dynamic, it was so light and fun to work. One of the things I also enjoyed was the character development and how well the characters were formed, there was so much attention to detail. For instance, when Dracula talks about being younger there's attention to detail that really added such a special, funny touch ('when I was younger, maybe 240 years old'). Also Dracula's crush on Elena? Absolutely adorable.

The overall premise was so much fun, this quest for jelly for the famous jelly doughnuts. It was the perfect combination of light and adventurous. My only pet peeve was the illustration on page 60, it felt misaligned and the illustrations felt separate at the top of the page vs the bottom which made the flow feel clunky. But other than that - such a fun ride!

I absolutely loved this book! It was cute and sweet as well as entertaining. Definitely a good read if you want something that isn't too long but also has a good plot.

This was a cute graphic novel that, at first, my six year old really enjoyed reading. However, it took a bit too long for a resolution for him to stay interested so we ended up abandoning it. I think kids who are a bit older --2nd-4th grade--would enjoy this more. It would be a good fit for those who love spooky or vampire stories, graphic novels, or mysteries. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

Super cute spin on Dracula. I envisioned Adam Sandler’s Count Dracula from Hotel Transylvania but less childish. The whole spin on jelly donuts was cute and unique. I loved the art style and color palette,
