Storm Wood was a very good read—packed with tension, danger, and a romance that built slowly but burned bright. The worldbuilding was vivid, and the plot kept me hooked, especially with the high-stakes mission and secrets unraveling. The chemistry between the leads was strong, and I loved the premise of unlikely allies navigating the perilous Below.

My only wish was for a deeper emotional connection with the characters. While I enjoyed their journey, I didn’t always feel fully in their heads or hearts, which made a few key moments hit with less impact. Still, it’s a captivating installment in the Elven Kingdoms series, and I’m excited to see where things go next!

Loved reading the mesmerizing and spellbinding paranormal story. While Farah, a wood elf, was working undercover in Mortham, a bomb goes off, and Farah finds herself a prisoner by a human, Rohan. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting story. Can't wait the next story in the series by the phenomenal author, Donna Grant!

Farah is a Wood Elf and is a DIA agent,Defense Intelligence Agency, working undercover in Mortham looking for her sister. She disappeared seven years ago and Farah has never given up on finding her. Rohan is human and is also in Mortham looking for his sister and several of his villagers. They disappeared several months ago and Rohan let himself be captured so he could look for them. Rohan has help setting off an explosion and then takes Farah. Farah is badly injured and Rohan and his sister doctor her up. Rohan knows Farah’s secret and blackmails her into helping him. They travel through woods to get back to Mortham and start their search but they end up with some extra people with them. Will they find their loved ones and take down the ones enslaving people?
Secrets. Enemies to lovers. Elves and humans. Steamy at the end. Rohan was raised to believe elves are all bad. Farah just wants to find her sister. I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense but I don’t want to give anything away.
