A Long Reach: A Streeter Thriller, Book 2 by Michael Stone
304 Pages
Publisher: Brash Books
Release Date: September 13, 2014
Fiction, Mystery, Thriller, Hard-boiled, Private Investigator
Carol Irwin received a warning in the way of a threatening poem along with a tarantula. She contacts Streeter, a former fiancé and now a skip tracer bounty hunter to find the man. She believes it is Kevin Swallows, a man she represented in two murder cases that were thrown out on a technicality. Streeter begins investigating and the attacks against people involved in the case increase.
The pace is fast as the action builds, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. This book has unsuspecting twists as the killer goes after everyone that put him away. If you like private detective stories, you may enjoy reading this book.

Good read! Everything plays out perfectly! The plot and the characters were well planned. This book will have you hooked right from the start!

I have not read the first book in this series and I feel that I should in order to understand more of the backstory. The plot was interesting, and I found Streeter to be a multidimensional character, although I did not particularly engage with him.
Many thanks to Brash Books and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
