Although this book is the end of a series it can certainly be read as a stand alone book. I have not read the other books since 2016. I could follow the story without getting lost and any other characters from previous books were only there briefly or barely mentioned.
Logan and Lizbeth got together in college and only got into a relationship when his on and off again relationship with Bobbi Jo finished. They were everything to each other and were discussing the future when everything changes for the pair when Logan and his twin brother Lucas go home for a holiday.
Fifteen years later, Lucas meets Lizbeth and discovers she is unmarried and arranges for the pair to meet again, after getting over the shock the pair get talking and things turn in the direction that Logan has always wanted, however an event back home has the potential to pull them apart again.
With Logans determination that he finally wants something for him, the relationship continues and Lizbeth proves that her love for Logan knows no bounds and she is will move across the country to be with him.
Its a lovely story of a couple coming back together despite all the odds and finding a true chance of happiness.
