She is back again with another second chance romance in a small town. I enjoyed how Amy developed characters that we can see who they are. It was emotional rollercoaster through their lives. On the another, Kaiah finally realized that big dreams and money are not important when come to your family. She is too true. I also discovered that her one of dream is belonging to good family. She desires to belong to a family in her heart.Lasty ,Reid was afraid to give heart to some one new because his heart belongs to his late wife and Piper is equally important as well. Kaiah's driven, kindness, and joy of what she do broke Reid 's heart in pieces more time spend with her. It makes very happy ending. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is the second book in the series, but it can be read as a stand-alone novel. Kyiah is a journalist heading on an assignment when her car breaks down in a small town. When she gets the news that her car will take several weeks to fix, she is devastated. Reid is a widower with a young daughter and has an apartment for Kyiah to rent until her car gets fixed. Kyiah puts her journalist skills to work to earn money to repair the elementary school helping with a festival in town. She finds herself falling for Reid and his daughter Piper. But what about her dreams for the future?

This book pulled me in with its themes of healing, self-discovery, and second chances.

Kaya’s journey was incredible. Coral Cove served as a safe space for her, a place where she could process her emotions, realign her priorities, and rediscover who she was and what she truly wanted out of life. Watching her growth unfold was beautiful.

Reid also stood out. I appreciated how the author allowed him space to grieve and grow, eventually breaking free from the emotional walls he had built after his loss.

I especially enjoyed seeing the dynamic between the characters. Even Piper’s perspective added a layer to the story. At first, her voice felt a bit cliché, but by the end, it made perfect sense, sometimes children are the best judges of character.

The setting of Coral Cove felt so real that I almost felt like I was there, experiencing the Lighthouse Festival. The writing was immersive and comforting, and the pace was just right.

This is a heartwarming, emotionally rich story about resilience, healing, and finding love again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

THE LIGHTHOUSE AT THE COVE by AMY CLIPSTON is an enjoyable romance novel with delightful characters, that takes place in the friendly little seaside town of Coral Cove, where most of the inhabitants’ families have lived for generations.
When freelance journalist for The Traveller, Kaiah Ross’s fifteen year old SUV breaks down at Coral Cove on her way to write an article on a town five hours away, she is fascinated by the lighthouse, the family vibe in the town, and most especially by a tall dark and handsome firefighter, widower Reid Turner, and his adorable six year old daughter, Piper, with whom Kaiah bonds quickly, having also lost her mother as a child…….
While waiting for her car to be repaired, Kaiah becomes involved with a fund raiser which leads to two job offers, either of which could make a huge difference to her career.
She has decisions to make………
The lighthouse plays a pivotal part in the story………
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

"The Lighthouse at the Cove" is a truly delightful and heartwarming read that feels like stepping into a beloved Hallmark movie. This story, centered around the quaint town of Coral Cove, offers a sweet escape filled with community spirit and a blossoming romance.

The narrative follows Kaiah, a travel journalist unexpectedly grounded in Coral Cove, and Reid, a single father. Their joint efforts to rescue the town's cherished festival form the backdrop for their evolving relationship. Readers will find themselves easily invested in the characters, particularly the endearing Kaiah, the steadfast Reid, and his adorable daughter, Piper. The small-town charm of Coral Cove itself is a character, drawing you into its close-knit community.

While the romance might feel a touch swift for some, and a few plot elements require a dash of imaginative acceptance, these minor points don't diminish the overall enjoyment. It's a wonderfully clean and uplifting piece of fiction, perfect for anyone seeking a feel-good story with relatable characters and a strong sense of place. If you're looking for a book that leaves you smiling, "The Lighthouse at the Cove" is a wonderful choice.

Thank you Thomas Nelson and NetGalley for an ARC of Amy Clipston’s newest book! She’s one of my very favorite authors.

This book is set in the same charming (fictional?) town featured in some of her other clean contemporary romances, Coral Cove North Carolina.

The setting and atmosphere of the small town really came to life for me. I loved the family owned businesses like the bakery, the gorgeous beaches, and of course the lighthouse.

This book would make a fantastic Hallmark movie, as the main character Kaiah comes from New York City to the small town of Coral Cove and ends up falling in love with the town and the people in it.

The story was enjoyable, but for me the romance was a bit lacking as it was VERY instalovey. The book spans only 2-3 weeks I believe, but yet both Kaiah and Reid were very committed to each other when in reality they barely knew each other.

There were also some fairly convenient plot points that required a bit of suspension of disbelief, but I did like seeing Reid fall in love again after 4 years of being a widower.

There are a few mentions of attending church, but I wouldn’t really call this Christian fiction. It’s more clean fiction.

Overall another sweet read from one of my favorite authors.

Loved this story about Kaiah , who after a tough break up being a journalist she is working "Hidden Gems" down the east coast to South Carolina. Her car decides to stop running in Coral COve, a small beach town. She sees Reid in the coffee shop when he grabs her drink cup. Later after they can't fix her car in one day. .
They call her an Uber and the driver is Reid. He is a generous person. All of the Inns are booked so he offers her to stay in his garage apartment.. That same day she meets his daughter Piper, his twin sister Becca and her daughter Astrid. Both Reid and Piper get attached to Kaiah. While she is in town being a journalist she helps them with their annual festival that the town has to raise money to rebuild a section of the school and restore the Coral Cove LIghthouse. See how that turns out and if she stays in town or goes after a job that has been offered to her that will put her closer to her dream job. A GREAT READ.

3.5 stars.
A sweet romance between an energetic and optimistic travel journalist and a doting single dad, “The Lighthouse at the Cove”, by Amy Clipston, is an enjoyable read about how love comes unexpectedly in a small costal town in need of revitalizing.
I loved how the leads, Kaiah and Reid, and the little girl, Piper, interact and connect in a relationship full of fondness, trust and honesty.
Nomadic Kayah and steady Reid seem very different but somehow click and connect seamlessly. They trust each other almost immediately and share confidences as a “warm friendship” grows between them.
They’re candid and honest with each other in a heartwarming way, easing into a fluid relationship.
Their life projects seem incompatible, though.
But they’re both thoughful, caring individuals and will find ways to overcome obstacles.
It’s a pleasurable read watching the main characters navigate attraction, doubts, insecurities, while also engaging with the community in a local project related to the lighthouse.
While I’ve enjoyed the characters, the setting and the plot I sometimes felt the story was a bit too neat with things happenning too easily.

The Lighthouse at the Cove,by Amy Clipston, opens with Kaiah Ross traveling through coastal North Carolina. She is a travel journalist documenting great spots for her readers to visit. Her car suddenly indicates that all is not well. As Kaiah slowly drives into Coral Cove looking for a car repair shop, she has no idea what she will encounter!

Kaiah’s first thought is that this town looks like one out of a storybook. After she gets her car set up for repair, she meets Reid Turner, her uber driver, and she cannot turn her eyes away. This handsome man has lived in Coral Cove his entire life and is also a full-time firefighter. Kaiah knows she will not be able o forget this man anytime soon. Kaiah simply describes him as Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome, TDH for short!

Unfortunately or maybe not, Kaiah has a lengthy stay in town until her car is repaired. When Kaiah volunteers to help prepare for the town’s annual festival, she and Reid end up spending a lot of time together. Before you know it, it seems as if something may be going on between these two!

When Kaiah’s car is finally repaired, she must make a tough decision. Will she move ahead with opportunities to further her writing career or stay in Coral Cove with this man she has come to love? It is fun to see the ending of this tale!

I loved this book so much!

Kaiah is a travel writer who is traveling to a destination for her next article when her car breaks down in Coral Cove. She ends up spotting hunky single dad Reid at a coffee shop and after needing a ride to a hotel from the auto repair shop, he comes to her rescue as her Uber driver. She ends up renting a room in his garage for a few weeks until her car is finished in exchange for helping write a few articles to help promote a town festival that's needed to raise money to repair the local elementary school. Kaiah brings a million ideas that blow anything they've ever seen out of the water and writes articles that go viral and bring tons of tourist to town, providing enough funding to not only make the school repairs but also restore a local lighthouse that he has fallen in love with. During this time she also falls in love with Reid and his amazing family (including his young daughter).

This book felt like hope in all the right ways. Reid was intentional. Kaiah was truthful and honest. Reid was vulnerable. Kaiah was thoughtful. They seemed to bring out the best in each other and by the end I was rooting for them so hard but also trusted them both so much with each other that I just KNEW it would work! 100% will read again and would absolutely buy for a friend.

This book was cute! A few typos, rambling sentences and awkward word structure. But the story was scenic and gave a small town feel. The characters were well developed and through out. I like how quick the story moved, it made for a quick read! As fast as it moved, I do wish it had a little more of a slow burn.

This was a heartwarming, Hallmark style novel about a travel journalist and a single dad. It's a sweet, wholesome read, but I didn't connect with the characters or the plot as I had hoped. Something was missing, in my opinion, which kept it from being a "wow" novel.

“Thank you for being my lighthouse.”

This book follows Kaiah, a freelance travel journalist who gets stranded in Coral Cove after her car breaks down, and Reid, a single dad who’s lived in Coral Cove forever. When the garage informs her that her car will take weeks to be repaired, she agrees to stay and help with the annual fundraising festival. I loved everything about this book. It had the perfect mix of romance and community spirit. All of the characters, especially 6 year-old Piper, were loveable from the start. I loved the small-town coziness, the development of the main characters and the ending. A great light-hearted romance read.

The Lighthouse at the Cove is another novel set at Coral Cove. This book is a stand alone--so you don't need to read the first book The View from Coral Cove| before diving into this one. None of the characters carry over.

This book has a travel journalist who has a car breakdown in a tiny coastal town on her way to her latest job. When the mechanics advise that it will be weeks before the replacement parts are available, she settles in to wait and enjoy what this special town can offer.

The lead male character is Reid who is a single dad of a 6-yearold daughter who works primarily as a firefighter in the town.

Both of them are thrown together when Reid offers a garage apartment for Kaiah to use while she's stuck in town.

They work together to try to save a town festival by incorporating many of Kaiah's new ideas for attracting attention--using her social media connections to advertise.

This was really just a so-so book. If you've followed my reviews you know that I am not a fan of "I've known you 3 weeks, I love you and want to get married" kind of romances. This one is pretty much a Hallmark movie waiting to happen! LOL.

I'm going to give it 3 Stars as being just okay. I enjoyed the first book in the series more. And I was actually surprised that the toy store wasn't mentioned in this book.

*Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. All opinions are 100% my own.

I have never read a book quite like this! I was so captivated by the love story between Kaiah and Reid, the strong pull they had towards each other and the meet cute were such good details. I wish we got a little bit more background on Reid and his late wife Brynn. Maybe a flash back chapter, and more details on Kaiah's family, more detail on why did her and her dad no longer get along. Have they tried to get along? Failed family gatherings?

I was so happy to finally be approved for this book and I wasn't one bit disappointed! I adored this novel.
Made me feel right at home withe Reid, Piper and Kayiah.
I loooooove lighthouses! It's the honest reason I wanted this book. I wanted to know the story behind it. I really wished people would take better care and preserve them. They have history too.
I simply couldn't putting beautiful story of 2nd chances down. They are my favorite because they do offer hope and more importantly love.
Some places this story made me cry and other times snicker too. And laugh out loud.
The description made me feel like I was a part of Reids community. I really enjoyed being there.
I hated to see it end. Maybe I shouldn't read so fast but I just can't help myself sometimes. I love coastal towns. Maybe it's because I live in one.
This was a great story. And yes at times heartbreaking. I love that this shows that our characters are human and they're not always perfect.
Becks Reid's sister is a wonderful person. Being twins must be awesome
5 stars for a great beach or anytime story. A job well done for drawing me in immediately.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
