Jade is in Spain, trying to make a living as a real estate agent, but things are not going her way. She has very little money, and no where to live as she has rented out her own place to try and bring in some cash. Her options are few and she feels that her past is catching up with her, someone knows what she did, and maybe is coming for revenge.
Hayley is a journalist, always searching for the next big story. When her boyfriend returns home, and tells her an interesting comment he overheard on the plane regarding a murder confession, Hayley is interested and excited, and wonders if this could be her scoop. Hayley goes to Spain to discover as much as she can, but finds out she could have made a huge mistake.
This is a fantastic psychological thriller, the plot twists kept me turning the pages, eager to find out more. There were clues, but also red herrings, and I did not foresee the ending at all. A really enjoyable read. Thank you for my advance copy.

Another book that starts on a plane! Teddy gets an offer from Astrid to basically be her maid/right hand man. When Teddy tells his gf that he overheard Astrid say she killed her husband, Hayley wants the story to make her career huge! So she goes undercover after she meets Astrid to chase down Jade for the truth.
Meanwhile jade is barely getting by and trying to sell condos for money. More people from her past that want revenge show up and jade doesn’t know who she can trust. I really enjoyed this sequel, however I liked the first book better. This was a quick read. I did forget a lot from the first book, so maybe a quick summary at the beginning would be good!
