Hector is the Dragon King of the Sea Green dragons. While working at Iron Hall, Hector rolls away a rock and finds a slowly blinking turquoise light. When he touches it, he is transported somewhere else. He was lured there and now he is trapped. Emilia is a seer and has seen the dragon in her vision. If the Dragon Kings come , they will destroy Zora. Because Emilia didn’t tell the higher ups about her vision, she is stripped of her status and put in jail. Hector gets her out and takes her to a cave that is has put a protection spell around. Hector is spelled to be a part of the island. He cannot hurt anyone who lives there. Unless they have hurt someone first. When he is put under a spell, will he be able to fight it and not hurt Emilia? Great story. Mystery. Sort of friends to lovers. Forced proximity. Steamy at the end. Hector is a dragon and doesn’t like downtime. Emilia likes it best being in the background. * VOLUNTARILY READ AND REVIEWED FOR NETGALLEY *

Hector is a Dragon King. Filled with magic and very powerful. In this book he is bound and forced into serving. I loved how Emelia came into her own. Justice takes many forms but it wins out.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series, however I really enjoyed it! There wasn’t like a super ton of world building, however I also haven’t read any of the other books so it’s very possible I missed some of that through the series.

I really enjoyed the style of magic that was laid out in this book with the dragon kings and the others. I’ve read other books where the magic didn’t really make a lot of sense but it felt like it did in this book.

I will say that I’m not a super big fan of books that are written in the 3rd person, I prefer first person view points, but that didn’t change my enjoyment

Dragon Forged by Donna Grant, published by DL Grant LLC, is book 10 in the Dragon Kings Series.
This is Hector and Emilia's story. Suspenseful, dramatic, full of twists and turns that had me guessing till tzhe very end, I loved reading this gem of a story.
