A definite recommendation for little ones who love bugs! Great read that my little one enjoyed. The illustrations were perfect and fun to look through while reading the book. It's informative and creatively put together to be relatable to today's young generation that's all about technology and social media. Encourages drawing, too!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book as an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of On the Air with Dr. Doodlebug. This book is so fun and educational! Kids will learn about different bugs and butterflies, and be excited about it with this adorable book. My only criticism is I wish it were longer. I hope there will be further installments!

I love this book! Very unique style and idea and love the science angle behind it. I wished it was a bit longer because I think this is more appropriate for older children. Will definitely recommend though!

This is actually such an awesome book, and I loved reading it! The author's idea to format this book as a radio show was so clever, and adds a lot of uniqueness to this book. It also made this book so much more fun to read because it was something fresh and new, which is always great. Additionally, in terms of graphic design, the pages were organized in such a way that it was easy to tell which character was speaking and when, which is not always the case for every book out there, so bravo for that! Adding onto that, the illustrator included so much detail on every page, which helps the reader stay fully engaged in the story. Lastly, since I have nothing bad to say about this book, the subtle puns included in the book and the mini messages with each character added depth and meaning to the book as a whole, which I loved seeing. Bravo!!

An easy to read graphic novel that will also teach kids about bugs. I enjoyed the radio show format. The graphics fit the story very well.

This is a great informative nonfiction title for Juvenile Collections. The illustrations are drawings and not actual photos but they are cute and attractive to look at. The book covers a few facts about a few different bugs. It is not overwhelming, making it a great purchase for 3rd graders and under. It is not comprehensive but has its place. I think many kids would like to read this book. Some of the pictures reminds me of Dav Pilkey (with superhero bugs, etc.)

Taking a page from social media, talk radio, and youtube shows, Dr. Doodlebug gives information and advice to a variety of bugs who are interested in learning more about themselves. In the process, readers learn all about the secret lives of ants, stinkbugs, caterpillars, lightning bugs and more. The fun format offers a look at a show that uses multimedia (Dr. Doodlebug doodles his answers and displays them on a computer screen). For today's techy kids, this informative and humorous book will hit home.
