Thank you to Harlequin & Harlequin Audio for the early copy in exchange for an honest review!
This was a delightful witchy / holiday romance. Season of the Witch has magic, spice, winter holiday vibes and a second chance romance! I loved getting to read Tia & Henry's story and had no issue following along despite not having read the first two.
Natalie Duke brings Season of the Witch to life with her narration. Her voices for each of the characters were unique and remained consistent throughout the whole book. I found the audio to be engaging and enjoyable and I definitely recommend it.

What happens when lovers become enemies become coworkers and then are stuck fake dating? Find out in this adorable cozy witchy story, the third in a series of stand alone interconnected books. This can be read on its own but you really get to know the main characters and relationships of your read the first two books first. It is a work vacation so it does have an almost entirely new cast of characters so it is easier to start from scratch.
When a sort of oops spell goes wrong and Henry forgets everything about Tia at the worst time for their company, they must pull off a fake relationship during their courtship of a potential investor.
This is silly and fun, flirty and a little spicy. It has strong winter holiday vibes so a good Christmas in July read or in preparation for Christmas.
Single narration, duel pov although primarily Tia’s pov. On page spice.
The narration was great, well paced. I would have loved duel narration with all the characters involved but the narrator gets the job done all by herself.

Quick Summary: A witchy sci-fi/fantasy romance
My Review: Season of the Witch by Sophie H. Morgan is book #3 in the Toil and Trouble series. It is a "spicy witch Christmas romance." This Harlequin Romance novel is scheduled for release on 9/2/25.
About the Book: "It was a passion neither could forget—until he did.
Tia might have had a small potion mishap…and accidentally erased Henry’s memories of her.
Henry might not remember his ex, but it’s clear there’s still something between them. Whatever went wrong in the past, he intends to figure it out.
... a little bit of Christmas magic and the snow-melting heat between them have Tia wondering if it’s time to risk her heart once more, even if it's with the warlock who once broke it… "
In My Own Words: A witch and a warlock with an intensely passionate and troubled past must work together to secure a deal. When they enter into a fake relationship, old sparks fly and unresolved feelings are faced head on.
About the Characters & Conflict: The Toil and Trouble series has the most amazing characters. I have enjoyed getting to know all of them. Tia and Henry are definitely two of my favorites. Their story was achingly sweet. I loved the spells, the light subterfuge, the spot of amnesia, the family tension (especially the unexpected announcement), the friendship circle, and the memory shower.
About the Audiobook: This novel was narrated by Natalie Duke. She had me from the beginning. I was completely engrossed the entire time.
My Final Say: This magical story won me over. I laughed. I cried. I celebrated. And now, I look forward to what comes next.
I adore this series! I cannot recommend it enough. I sincerely hope there will be more to come. There is so much room to grow.
