I'm a sucker for a historical romance. This was a short and sweet story. While some of the romance felt a little rushed at times, it slowed back down and felt a bit more natural. Loved Maddy - kids aren't always written well I to romance, but it just worked well. Minimal drama as well. It is nice when it all just works and everyone gets their happily ever after.
