A gorgeous story with beautiful illustrations of a little boy who is both Black and Jewish, and his journey of finding "home" in both cultures. Loved it!

This is a great example for kids when talking to them about inclusion and accepting people for who they are. It shows bullying is wrong and just how one negative statement can affect a person's mental health. Its also nice when a book includes the storyline of religion so children can understand why their friends might have to follow certain customs.
Thank you to Netgalley, Audrey Ades, Jason Schachter McKinney, and Lerner publishing group for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest feedback.
