“All stories are love stories if you love stories.”

This is most definitely book for people in love with books. Rainy March is a book witch; she can transport herself into stories, and we are taken onto a journey through various beloved texts such as The Great Gatsby and Alice in Wonderland.

As much as this is a novel about stories, it’s also about love and the depths we will go to feel and bask in its presence. Friendship, romantic, and familial love all come into play to lend a heartwarming and cozy feel; I was utterly charmed by all of the characters and left wishing I, too, were a book witch.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an arc of this novel. All opinions are my own.

Meg Shaffer books are indescribable.
I desperately want to quote the first line of this novel here, but I don't want to take away anyone's joy in getting to read it for the first time in its proper place.

This book gave me all the feels. The clever quips, nostalgic book quotes, the swoony hero, and the real tears I cried for fictional characters all combined into an immensely layered and satisfying story.

Highly recommended.
