Ok. So I have had this book for quite a while. Not really sure why I put off reading it. There are so many little twists and turns, you don't know what to think. I went back and forth trying to decide who I thought was trust worthy. When the book starts and we meet Athena she has already been working as a prostitute. All she wants to is get out and be free. As she tells her story she runs into a child hood friend and has run ins with her pimps partner, we also meet one of her closest friends Vicki.

Out of the people she has in her life she has no clue who is actually a friend and who isn't. The story kept me guessing through most of the book. Towards the end I did start to figure out where the story line was going. However, the ending, as in the last page, last line of the book! I did not see that coming. It made me think back through the story and question certain things. I can see why other reviewers are questioning if a second book will be out, but I don't think it is needed. The ending, for me anyways, closed up that part of her life and allowed to her be free.
