I have just now noticed I did not submit my formal review for this book. Please forgive me. I see that this title is quite old, and I see it had mixed reviews on Amazon.

I'd like to concur, however, with the readers who understood the unique approach to this book. I love this author's creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in providing the answer to healthy, permanent weight loss. Though I could see how readers who were expecting a cozy mystery to find a diet book would be somewhat dismayed, I do want to applaud both the author and the publishing company for giving this title a shot.

I have gained and lost 150 pounds over and over again in my life. Now, in my mid-50s I am just finishing up my final big diet, after taking a year to lose 80 pounds. You might call me a "repeat offender" or someone whose mouth literally flaps too hard.

I've been a professional writer for a very long time. And I believe there is a place for creative non-fiction that delivers straight-forward facts about living.

Whether the reader accepts that advice, embraces or rejects that challenge to become a better version of themselves, is their responsibility.
