Ferran, Mireia, and Riffolk continue in Skinshaper, the second book in the Rend the Dark series. Drawn by Mireia's nightmares, the trio head even deeper into the snow covered mountains. Ferran's tattoos burning they come to a seemingly abandoned mining town. Finding a survivor hanging in a cage waiting to die they head into the mines to battle what awaits them. Another action packed, horror filled, fantasy novella I enjoyed reading Skinshaper.

These authors are magic. Such intense world building and in-depth characterisation in a short work, simply amazing! I love this whole series of books and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Skinshaper is another Rend the Dark novella that packs quite a bit of story in such a little package. The writing, as always, is great.
