Johnson's newest legal suspense novel is intriguing and thoughtful. Ian Wells is a likeable character who is in way over his head and cannot find his way out of the deepening mystery he finds himself in. Johnson knows just when to release more information in the story line to keep readers hooked in, and adds layers to the mystery surrounding Ian's family that keep readers thinking the whole way through. Smart and suspenseful, Fatal Trust is sure to please mystery fans across the board.
