Really enjoyed book 2, am hoping there is a next in the series, need to know The Queen is ok.

Perfect Gravity was an explosive, fast paced novel that started with a sigh and ended with a boom! I had never read anything like it and that's saying something. If you are into science fiction with a flare of romance and mystery, then this one is definitely for you.
While the story was fun and enjoyable, I thought it may have been a little too fast paced. You were thrown into the action in the first few chapters and it didn't let up until the very end. Sometimes this can be a very good thing, but I felt like I dived in without a life vest. I didn't get very much build up or anything before the plot was thrown at you and it was either run or be dragged behind.
There wasn't time to get comfortable with the world the author had developed before you were being submerged. Again it isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in a world this awesome, there should be some sort of grace period. I mean a futuristic world where science is melded to humans is such a powerful concept that it deserves more back service.
On a more positive note- the characters were not only likable, but relatable. While Angela Neko is a psycho perfectionist at heart, she was raised and trained to be this way. So even her neuroses are understandable. Kellen Hockley, her match in every way that matters is just as loveable as any hot blooded Texan Cowboy, so what if his beasts are of the futuristic kind?
With a little more detail and a couple more chapters this could have been an amazing store. It just needed a little more fluffing. It still managed to be a good story, just not incredibly so.
