The advent of the automobile certainly brought about many societal changes! The only changes I ever considered were American culture. It was interesting reading about England's adventures with cars! I've only ever thought of cars being a problem in Europe, as the towns really weren't built to accommodate motor vehicles and it was interesting to see how many countries, cities, and towns adjusted (Parking lots outside of small towns for residents use!). Anyway, the book will be enjoyed by anyone who is i love with cars. Fun read!
